So I tried with lowest settings and resolution possible and I got 18FPS in the same exact spot. This is the most fucked up console port that I recall.

Yes. I don't have stuttering, I have fps drops.

I tried all the solutions that were mentioned in this tread. The only left to try is running the game on Win7 (and I'll try that as soon as final RTM is out). But I don't mind much, worst case scenario I'll just get a 360 version.

this game sucks ass, unplayable with mouse and keyboard, gamepad works fine, runs pretty jerky while it doesnt even look that good, gave me a blue screen on level 3 or something, uninstalled.

Any way of disabling Venkmans dialog, I'm getting really pissed off with the same cheesey "That was oow" line bieng delivered every 20 seconds or so!!

Settings.ini is located in the "C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\Local\GHOSTBUSTERS (tm)" folder on Vista and "C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserNameHere\Application Data\GHOSTBUSTERS (tm)" on XP
SSAO, antiAliasMultipleX and antiAliasMultipleY are bugged however and will drastically reduce framerate (SSAO doesn't really work at all and AA works via supersampling so performance is crippled.)

There is no 'Ghostbusters tm' in 'apdata' but there is one in 'My Documents' but there is no ini file there only GAME0.SAV and PROFILE.SAV.
wtf am I the only one without it, I am running on Xp.

Did you do a custom install or something?
Check the install directory and on the disc image also open data.cab (Winrar works) and verify if all files are present.
(Custom install worked here but the EXE file and some .dll stuff ended up in C:\Program Files\SomeCompanyFolder\Ghostbusters\ so I had to copy those over and correct the registry values.)

Heard the steam version doesn't have that file.

Well yes I have the steam reloaded version.
Fuck this stuttering, I'll 'waste' a verb on this game the graphics will be worse but at least it will be playable.

Installed the new nvidia driver but i still got stuttering.
But when i set the process priority of ghost_w32.exe to low via task manager, the game seems to run without stuttering now.
Worth a try for those who got stuttering.
