Haha. Then RLD is better, right?
And... RLDs Sims 3 is OK?

The game is pure win from a fun aspect, and not so overly tough to fuck with. Its nice and easy flow, simple yet good looking gameplay, linear maybe but its a joy to look at and the actual dialogue is rather funny..
Keeping it simple works for a fun game it seems, as long as the coders can keep the play not a complete lagfest fuckup like some do.

It´s a shame it has no co-op, I´d have been perfect for this game. Also, it´s quite annoying to revive your team mates all. time. In the final boss battle all 4 are laying on the ground all the fucking time, if you´re the rookie then the ghostbusters are idiots, lol.

I Actually think the overall "Gameyness" Shows through a little bit too much with this, for instance in the fight with Stay Puft off the side of the building, It seems you cant move at all just hang there in one spot blasting the things coming towards you was a little too erm.... simple, a very Gamey shooting gallery, it would be nice if they could allow you to swing back and forth to avoid the dangers. Hmm come to thnk about that whole sequence where is chasing you cold have used a bit more polish to mask the fact that all you had to do was Task A then Task B to get to unlock next waypoint or next boss attack pattern.
The other thing that is frustrating is it's quite easy to get lost in certain parts because of the cutNpaste style of the levels.
A pretty Average Game IMO.
On a good note Dan Akroyd did an excellent job with voicing his lines for the game.

Version: vitality
My PC: 9800GTX OC2, Core2Duo E6440@3ghz, 2gb ddr-800.
I have my native resolution (1680x1050) and everything else at off/low and the game is a bit too laggy to be enjoyable. I tried the low priority trick but didn't see any difference. Anything else? Should I use rld?

Does anyone know how to set subtitles for other languages? I can´t seem to find any registry entry or file related to the language.

Unpacker, there's also a utility for Prototype editing though I haven't tested either of them, could be useful.

I opened laguage.pod and it contains all subtitles.
world\de
world\en
world\es
world\fr
world\hu
world\it
world\nl
world\pl
world\ru
You could try renaming languange.pod and copy the folder with your desired in-game sub, but it´s needed to pack the .pod again and the utility can only extract file.
Still, you could try the coping the sub folder manually. For instance, if you get DE subs on a DE OS, rename world\en to world\de. It should look like this:
x:\<game>\world\
I haven´t tried since i´m not at home atm.
Here is the file unpacked: http://rapidshare.com/files/247357475/world.rar
On the other, has anyone used Steam Achievement Manager? I always was curious about it. People say you might get banned.

I gave up on this game... I've spent the past 2 days trying to just get it to run but keep coming up saying its can't initialize 3D acceleration. Unless Atari releases a patch than I can't think of anything else to fix this problem...

People have said that the readme mentions 512 MB of RAM as a minimum requirement for the GPU in order for the game to work, also needs to support SM 3.0 (NV 6600 to 295 though not all have 512 MB RAM or ATI 1000 to 4000 series though again some have smaller RAM amounts.)

512mb for this game is absolutely ridiculous, u can play gears of war on a 256mb 7600gt and it looks much beter than this ghostbusters.

Playing now. CHasing down Stay Puft Marshmellow man. Fun as heck! Runs between 20 FPS-30FPS using 8800GT. Froze one time for about 10 sec, but unfroze and continued. Fun game. Got it burnt onto 2xDVD5 too. Works great with Razor crack.

I turned off the lock on 30 HZ under video options if thats what you mean. I do get now up to 60Hfps but it dropped back down to 15 fps while fighting stay puft on the building. It was skipping too. I already updated drivers to latest. This game runs like GTA 4, anywhere between 15-60FPS. It def needs to run smoother.
Is this coding fault or is my core2duo too old. Man, I wish these games ran smoother. I also have 3GB of memory, running XP.

There's fuckin' screen tearing on the console version (they disengage vsync to increase fps) plus graphics are worse no wonder it runs smoother then the pc but not by much either, consoles are starting to lag noticeably compared to modern day pc's.
My vsync is always on in ati control center I hate screen tearing reminds me of that great looking star wars game on the consoles, had tearing all over the place, fucking weak, how can people play with vsync off I will never know.

Screen tearing is not equal in all games. It's very noticeable in games with a lot of contrast in color or light. Like this game, or dead space (blinking lights in a dark corridors), or FEAR2. And in other games, such as most driving games, you can't see almost any tearing. Also games like CoD4, where contrast stays about the same all the time there's almost no tearing either.
And most importantly playing a competitive online FPS game with vsync on is a ass rape. Mouse aim feels like shit with vsync on.
