It really is true, huh.
For some reason the useful "Repair equipped items" option at the technicians only appears after the SIRCAA part in the main quest.
What the fuck is wrong with these devs, so many weird/stupid choices

in a way i agree, it looks a bit too much like a filter is added and removed in the after shots, but the contrast is too much i think. i will test how this looks with DLSS 5
I do understand why they do this for games, it ties it all together, but you do get the filter or washed out look at the same time. there's likely a middle ground somewhere where things doesnt look too separate and "harsh" (not how reality looks, everything just blends in a natural way).

Patch 2.0.6 is ready. This one is a minor crash fix patch that will help stalkers that experience annoying crashing anomalies too often, especially in the AMD region.
- Backported several fixes for AMD GPU-related crashes.
- Fixed several other high-priority crashes.
Great news, confirmation that the problem wasn't my GPU or drivers. Though, they had to undo fixes to correct that? dafuq?

I don't understand why you would have doubts about the crashes.
CTD: it's the game
Reboot: it's your hardware.
CTD's are almost never hardware related. And this is the price you pay with an AMD card. Not that AMD can help it, but there market share is to small so they prioritize Nvidia during development so the chance you'll run into issues is so much smaller. It's worth the 30% or so extra you pay for this reason alone.

Crashes started after both a driver and game update, also the gpu also started with an odd behaviour outside of the game right after that (after ~1hour with my system on idle, gpu stops feeding signal to my monitor; even with a reboot it goes into basic display driver settings, and on device manager I find my gpu disabled with some driver conflict or whatever error; uninstalling the gpu while keeping the driver files fixes it by the next boot, but I'm still not sure if it's a windows, driver or GPU issue ); this was also after weeks of playing the game and having the GPU registering the highest temperatures I'd ever seen by then.
In the next few months I'll probably get a linux distro up and running and eliminate at least the OS as being a possibility, only (possible) driver or GPU issues by then yay AMD

That's not true. It depends on how hardware issues manifest. If memory corruption occurs, it can cause a BSOD, if the memory address(es) corrupted is within the kernel's region, but if a user-space memory region is corrupted, if can cause software crashes. Likewise, with various GPU hardware issues. Since Windows Vista, parts of the display drivers are user-mode, so any unexpected or garbage value or corruption there can cause the software to crash, rather than BSOD, which will occur if the corruption occurred in the kernel-mode portion of the driver.
So it makes the camera more like ARMA. But the question is, if looking at your shoulder, for example, what happens if you suddenly click fire? Does the bullet magically still end up where your screen center points? Or are there physics involved to have the body first rotate and then fire?
There's no inertia movement for player camera, and despite the 'realistic' (sideways) camera movement, there's still a feeling of (forward) sliding across the screen.
(You can observe it even in the video.)
Vanilla (default) game cam - from this point of view - is still better.
Duty continues to be fucked over by these hippie Freedom devs... just got the 2nd exo for their faction (Shield of Duty) and no sprint upgrade whatsoever (need a mod to fix that) for that one too. They didn't even add something like a specialized SSP100 suit, like Spark has for example, nothing
Apparently they didn't add a single new armor with this DLC? For the player that is, why even bother with the faction war if top armors for each of them are available?

There's an exo with sprint module already installed in that!
Probably one of the best in the game, also.
I'm talking about new armor available for the player, if what I've read is right there's fuck all.
Even though some characters are clearly using new faction armor
