hard difficulty is too spongy in the beginning but feels right later on, normal difficulty is ok in the beginning but too easy later on

Once you hit equipment level 8 or so, and get runic up to 275, you just melt the screen with runic powers. Pretty fun but yeah it does take a bit to get there.

The combat is more mechanical and dated than I remember it. But at least mouse & keyboard make for a smoother controls.

The fun button mashers have low health enemies (Yakuza series also comes to mind), and I think this one does too (on medium difficulty). I can easily take on ogres and elementals now (level 4), quickly and without taking damage, and it feels good Smile I was afraid combat was going to require patience and planning (eg """"Souls-like""""), and while it does on occasion, it's just too fun to jump in all crazy-like Laughing and it works (so far) Laughing

Btw, that dead giant was a damn sight to see. Really cool level that was.


There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

Reinstalled this just to see how they changed the mouse. Its perfect now. The game controls as if you're playing quake 3. Why the fuck couldnt they have launched the game like this, so people dont finish the game with the subpar stick emulating shit ? They worked two years on this. They said m/kb is their prefered way to play.

Yea it's pretty great now.

I somehow prefer it to playing with controller.

Wonder how you can tweak these ini settings:

MouseMode=Precision ; Values: Classic, Precision
PrecisionMouseMinDpi=400 ; Range: 1 - 1000000
PrecisionMouseMaxDpi=20000 ; Range: 1 - 1000000

Feels great now. Have to crank up the sensitivity a bit, but it no longer feels like you're fighting the mouse to simply look around

Just noticed one issue... when you have precision on, WSAD movement makes the animations instantly change. It's not smooth at all

Walk forward while continually pressing A and D, you can easily see what I mean between each mode.

yeah, sadly devs don't really care about these kind of things. I've reported issues like this for like 3-4 games and they dont care. "it works." "you can play the game, cant you?"

When I say "yes, but quality". They ask: "What?".

Oh i play this game with controller 100%. But if the devs come out and talk shit about how good the mouse control is, then you'd think they'd know PC gamers don't want mouse acceleration
