want to know a real point of view from someone that knows persons in the Independent scene and Real game industry ... female persons ...
over the last days got a few laughs from it ... every one is treated equal in the scene and everyone is the same
so why now , in 2014 we get so many reports of this ... well hmmm did Jade Raymond public face promoting Assassin Creed started it ... and the fallout when fans started to do porno hentai of her ... nope
it all started when no names wanted to be celebs ... Society of YT celebs , Tweeter celebs , Flickt celebs ... even Facebook celebs ... Society of social media celebs ...Society when you become a celeb for a hot sex video or harassment tweet ...
create a fake campaign around you , PR so good that you will be a target for digital social media ... make a troll video , contradicting yourself ... need a good PR for your game ... sleep with the press and then fake your harassment ... be a target ... become a celeb ... become the voice of people .... become a idol for others to idolize you ... become a example for others, to do, as you tell them to do, but not as you do ...  ... become a smoke screen that others use ,to do dirty jobs in your name...
the thing is ... one did this to be a games reporter and the other to hide a 400k TV money heist ... those are taken from two recent examples ... there are more ...

In fiction, absolutely ANYTHING is "plausible".
In reality, the difference between an elite super-trained athlete, male or female ISN'T immense. While, yes, the men in terms of strength and stamina are 10-20% better prepared if we compare the best of the best in the same weight/training class - there are still a lot more factors involved, pain threshold, psyche, education, motivation, morale, etc.
To claim it's not plausible that a woman could be a survivor in an extreme circumstance is pure ignorance and possibly sexist.

They are training the NAVY SEALS and the Marines to treat wounds and stave off infections. I am pretty sure even the regular army soldiers are going through such training.

I don't mind the idea of female empowering videogames and characters; just that it strikes me that this isn't the goal of the pro campaigners.
It seems to me that their goal is to create a society where it is deemed immoral to portray women in anything other than a powerful context which is fucking ridiculous.
Games, more and more, just mimic the wider human culture, same as movies.

For example, Anita was presenting clips of existing games, like Assassins Creed for example where a women gets murdered; she highlights this as mysogynistic and wrong.
So she is basically advocating a society where this would be deemed immoral.
She's not suggesting the creation of powerful female characters; she's infringing on the morality of other artists.
Yeah, imo.

No no no, I didn't say all feminists - I specifically said radicals, the internet mouthpieces. I'm *married* to a feminist, a true one, not some hooting dickhole that screams about the patriarchy. There is absolutely nothing shitbags like Anita are doing that is to "raise awareness" - it's to raise her quality of life as thousands of white knights flock to her defence and fund her way through life.

I didn't say all feminists, just the opinions of some of the ones i have heard speak out.
Well I wouldn't say 'attacked' but definitely defensive. It's an issue I care about and i'm human.
With regards to Hollywood, however far fetched they are; there is always a kernel of humanity that conceived the story. Even Rambo.
