Coxy use just ur 2 sticks of 2gb to start with, your using same as i had issues with dominator right ? 1066mhz.. you can run that stuff at 2.2v you may have to pump up your MCH/Pci volts as well my board was stock at 1.50v i had it then running with my sticks at 1.54 to get it stable with a o/c on my cpu (e6600/2.4ghz@3.2ghz). I had 4 sticks of 1gb as i said before and it was a no go or the stick/s went duff.. Since fitting Ocz 2*2gb sticks i can run at 1.9v on the ram and just 1.51v on mch/pci ...

Ive always been a big fan of my dominator ram but seems my board isnt a fan of large amounts of it by filling up all the banks.. (aw9dmax)

It will no doubt be a ram issue with vista64 and your board voltages.. Pain in ass that you have not got it sorted, but dont give up, but also at same time dont go overboard with voltage adjustments.. hehe..

PC issues ftw!!!

1st thing I did when I woke up (around 8:30 or so) was a CLEAN install of Vista Ultimatex64.

I installed all the drivers...one at a time and let the PC run for like 30 min before installing the next one etc.

And behold have been running without one crash and it's now 2:30.

Still got some proggs and what not to install, but looks good so far.

That faulty PSU was for sure the main culprit, the rest might have been due to wrong chipset drivers or whatever.

This time I used the drivers recommended on ASUS website.

If nothing else happens I will run Memtest later.

Next Time you need hardware, go to alternate in linden. its 55 km from frankfurt. But you can use the autobahn to reach it. Driving around within Frankfurt takes much much longer Very Happy And alternate has almost anything you need!
