While WoT is absolute cancer, this looks really fun to me. Yes, it's arcade slop, but probably will be a good way to let go of some stress by hopping in for a few battles every now and then.

This game has been in development for a number of years now, originally under the codename 'Project CW' (they should have stuck with that name, tbh). There are loads of gameplay videos available on YouTube.

Also, if anyone feels inclined to do so, it is possible to sign up for their testing programme.

I am a huge tank enthusiast and everything about this game is a NO for me.

I wish we'll get a proper online armored warfare game, a game that's a bit closer to simulation than arcade. But it's not going to happen. Mad

Seriously, though: if you're looking for a sim, check out GHPC. It's not online ,though.

I'll pass on War Thunder.
-Business model is trash
-The UI is horrendous.
-They are improving on the visuals, but there's stark contrast between old and new.
-The balance is all over the place.
-The Realistic Mode or whatever is called ain't that great.

Gunner, Heat, PC is pretty great, but it's singleplayer only.

Call to Arms had a very nice armored warfare multiplayer mode. But they slowly ruined that game by making it more and more arcade.

Wait, there's also Steel Aces, being developed atm. It's like a mix of WoT and WT, but sans the predatory practices.

https://steelaces.com/

At least it's a new dev (and not fucking cheeky-breekies, to boot). Read the FAQ on their webpage if the game sounds interesting to you.

"Realistic" armored warfare means literally you rely on rng 90% of the time and balance will feel all over the place because of that aswell. Or whoever gets off the first shot always wins.
It just doesnt make very fun/great gameplay experience sadly.

Regarding WOT, Blitz is what WOT should have always been, it's great fun for a "mobile game", way more than the "real thing" these days which was also great upon a time but has long since diminished cause braindead players can only herpderp corridor heavy meta.

Looks meh Sad

Squad 44 (Post Scriptum) has great armored battles. Hell Let Loose is pretty good in this regard, but not as good as Squad 44.
