Finished the audio book only recently. Not sure about this movie. Book adaptions are always tricky, but it seems like they aren't even keeping to core principles of the book (like the ship looks completely different from what I took away from the book, which explained why it was designed a certain way).
In addition, why do they spoil one of the biggest things right in the first trailer? Watching trailers has been a nightmare for ages, they just can't help themselves spoiling 80% of any given movie.

What a stupid name. But if you guys say even the trailer is spoilerish BUT the book is pretty good, guess I'll ignore the trailer and go and check the book out.

The book is rather "sciency", but in an interesting way I thought. I did listen to the audio book and noticed right then that it was clearly written with a film adaption in mind, especially the last "action sequence" without wanting to spoil anything (which the trailers do plenty).
