listened to it yesterday and actually liked it. It s a mixture of modern and classic rock with more good songs than bad ones imho. I thought it would be shit and was pleasantly surprised. But i heard alot of people hating it, so better make up your own mind. Its only a download away anyways

Just tried it out.
Few decent ones, but nothing too special. I don't know... maybe it will grow on me.

I just wish Axl hadn't put the GnR name on this. It ain't GnR. Just more of Axl's rambling.

Axl is a dick. Fortunately I can listen to music without relating to the source. That's why I still love Metallica.
8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

He is def a dick and an asshole. And i treat this album as a solo album because in fact that's what it is and if you listen to Use Your Illusion (especially II) you can hear what direction was Axl trying to take - November Rain and Estranged are his songs hence all the pretty songs on ChD (This I Love, Sorry, Prostitute, and on one of the next albums - The General).
That's what the album should be considered as - The Axl Rose solo album. In that case the album is fucking sweet. A mix of Appetite's power (ChD, Shackler's Revenge and more) with more new wave-electronic sounds plus nice solos (despite Slash's absence).

Pure shit, should have be named "The Axl Rose Project" instead of GnR, this is a disgrace to the GnR name.

Seems like some prominent 'old GnR' member disagrees.

I heard something about his surgery but was it because of the high pitched screaming? Can't remember that, i though it was some kind of a health problem rather than his usual screaming...
I only heard that now there are breaks throughout the shows (usually when the guitarists are playing solos between songs etc.) and then Axl is going backstage and inhaling pure oxygen through a mask or some shit like that.
Still, he is totally cut himself from the media after their best era so right now there are only gossips actually

naw, it was because he fucked his voice up badly because of the way he sung when Guns N Roses were popular

Wow, then he is fucking determined. Its easily noticeable than on ChD and recent shows he has a different voice than in the classic era. His screams are less ear-hurting now.

thats what fucked his voice up. those high pitched screams that he used to be able to carry for a good amount of time.
Ruined his vocal cords.
Remember a couple of years ago he preformed at the MTV Music Awards and it sounded horrible. Thats why. Thats what convinced him to get his vocal cords fized.
