There's either one key that works for both LIVE and SecuROM online, of course we don't have those as it comes with the game itself and normal keys won't register in SecuROM's server database, otherwise it'll be handled by one activation key for the protection and one G4W:L key.
(Perhaps the retail version will use SecuROM online, perhaps it'll use just a disc check, probably the first one and these triggers albeit perhaps with a more lenient install base than just five activations.)

oh, btw, don't use a trainer with the cracked versions
i don't know if it works on normal ones either
i used one at that big brawl after the water pumps and it launched me into a parallel universe for the next level, where the game scripts were telling me everything was overrun by ivy, but the levels that loaded were the previous ones.. leading to odd stuff like completely empty levels and invisible walls (collision-geometry loaded from the next version of the level, but visual geometry from previous version)
bizarre
damn lucky i had taken a backup of my savegame an hour earlier
haven't still beaten the fight fairly though, so it might still be that the game is just fucked and the trainer had nothing to do with it
anyone else get this far?

There's such a trigger later on, enemies disappear and you'll get invisible walls where stuff and objects should appear so navigating will be very difficult, supposedly close to the ending.
(About 60% of total completion if you don't do the Riddler - and similar - challenges, based on a post earlier in this thread.)

how do you activate the pysicsX, cant find the button for it, i have the d2d version. its on under the nvidia control panel, but there are no newspaper on the floor/smoke or brakable tiles, everything is turnd on and max settings.

I dont understand why they put triggers that do this kind of invisible wall shit and enemies vanishing? yeah its frustrating but how about just er, oh a trigger is needed here just shut off the game... job done..

Triggers were primarily put in to deter piracy and also to catch pirates due to complains and "bug" reports, this was kinda the answer given on the official forums from a Eidos staff (Unsure if it was a developer or one from the Eidos as a publisher.)
As for finishing the game Breeze_ supposedly completed it but the invisible wall and dead zones problem is pretty much a direct halt when reached as it can't be passed.
(Invisible objects, missing characters and if you switch locations you'll fall forever in a sort of void, kinda like going outside the level boundaries.)
It's proven quite effective but it also affects the developers and Eidos as a publisher as many might see the game as buggy or very restrictive and limited.
(Even more if you only get three - five activation attempts and no direct revoke utility for existing activations asuming the retail copies all use SecuROM online.)

at some locations, the game will crach with Physx on, at some other locations, the game won't crash with PhyX on, anyone can give an explanation? thx.

Same with me...some crush..some no...but damn its really awesome to play with physx on...game look really good even if it cost you some FPS drop...

Same with me...some crush..some no...but damn its really awesome to play with physx on...game look really good even if it cost you some FPS drop... |
yes, hope new crack coming soon to totally enable physX without crash.

Well if you really want to prove that you played through you don't mind to share your save games with us.
to do that you have to do the following:
upload the contents of C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\XLive
and the C:\Users\USERNAME\my documents\Eidos\batman arkham asylum\savedata

Not completely. It seems this version is leaked and doesn't contain all the proper PhysX files and code. There are hackjob ways of getting PhysX working in this, but it involves editing INI files and replacing PhysX key files with ones from the Demo release.
My advice? Forget PhysX for now, wait for a retail/proper release.
