The nxcharacter and nxcooking DLL files are there (Probably has a PhysX redist as well.) so it uses that for physics but as said it's for smaller things and entirely CPU bound with no acceleration for additional effects. (Like Sacred 2 before it was patched or UT3 initially.)

Not a single crash here on my 82 hours playthrough. The only problem was that loading times increased the longer I played, so I had to restart the game every couple hours, which doesn't even take a minute to do. So not a big deal.

same here. i'm over 30h on my 2nd playthrough with no crashes. of course, i play mostly in windowed mode not fullscreen so that may make a difference. every now and then when it's taking a long time to load, you'll see the game window spaz out with 'not responding' but eventually it'll come back. i got scared the first time it happened. Crying or Very sad

i'm starting to realize that too. the longer you play the longer the loading becomes. i think maybe we have some sort of memory leak in the game? i think after 10h or so of playing, the load time becomes unbearable and you must restart the game unless you want to spend huge chunk of time waiting for the loading. Very Happy

Just checked using that exploit in the RoosterTeeth video. Max level is 25, after that it's stuck at "0/NaN XP until level 26" (yes, NaN, whatever that's supposed to be).

Sorry, didn't see >_< No, I never patched the game. I finished it on 1.0 because 1.01a makes the game even easier - and it's easy enough already.

Try playing it without a mage in your party. Smile

Really damn hard without a healer mage and/or a damage mage.

Apparently holding TAB didn't highlight that.

Too late now, though, as the place is forever locked. That's just bad design. :/

Just wondering : Do you venture out of Ferelden at some point or is the whole game on the same map ? Do you visit Orlais , Tevinter Imperium , Antiva ect ? Because those places , Tevinter Imperium in particualr really interest me and i hope that i will have a chance to visit them at some point.

If not then i see many expensions/DLC coming our way in the future.

Alright....sucks but i'mpretty certain that Bioware will release expensions/DLCs/sequels that will take place out of Ferelden. I mean those places are quite important in the DA lore and i doubt that they developped such a rich background for nothing. I mean Orlais is supposed to be the most powerful nation on the continent and the Tevinter Imperium where all the shit started so i'm pretty sure that they have the intention to use them at some point or at least i hope.

This is the first cliche RPG in ages that has me hooked to the world story and folklore and makes me want to see more of it. Tjat's quite an accomplishement. Witcher was great but it wasn't as rich as DA.

You need to click on the corpse at the wall in the last room (where the warden mage is) first, then the painting is highlighted.

I really didn't like how the Warden's Keep DLC locks you out when you finish the quest line. I was hoping to have a personal castle with cool things inside (like the Oblivion "houses"), and I wanted to talk to an NPC I allowed to live to see if I could get some goodies.

Yeah, that's why I couldn't finish that last detail. Lazy developers.

The impaled corpse gives you the last chapter. I had all of them when I searched.

So, can I anyone tell me what was in the secret cache? Razz

See.. the spider webs, barricades, blood pools on the floor - all those messy things - are just decals and/or props. I'm sure some of us could load that particular area in the Editor and remove them personally, setting the script so that it loads the NEW - cleaner - area once the quest is done. This couldn't be done before since the ERF files for the DLC were 2.2/Encrypted, but now they're not! Now they're standard ERF files, decrypted ones at that, so surely we could be able to edit it?
