At least it's a major performance boost without Tesselation, and let's be honest, that's the only reason DX9 became popular so quickly compared to DX8

Hmm? DX9 was for a very long time ignored. Only when SM3 was introduced in DX9c it became something to look for (and the entire debacle with ATI  ).

Seriously, what the fuck?! That test makes DX10 look like an angel. At least with DX10 we got nice performance boost in some games (FarCry 2, RE5).

"this week" is the latest update according to their community guy on the official forum.

I'm sure you guys understand because if most people were able to play the demo except you, it would be very frustrating.

I can 100% guarantee that the Demo is not cancelled and that good news is coming soon

2560x1600, what a rediculous resolution  needs a nasa PC to get any good framerates
and on a relatively small screen, 30" no thanks I prefer my 32" with 1920*1080 and some AA.

There is a demo, but no one on here is getting it. I doubt anyone at codemasters are in a hurry to release it. i would think Monday at the earliest but since the game is out Tuesday, i'd put money on the actual game release coming before the Demo. I hope i'm wrong because i wouldn't mind trying it out over the weekend but i don't have much faith in a demo coming any time soon.
