Anything that sells for more than I buy it = profit. The values themselves are meaningless. As long as red is less than green.

Would you care pointing out exactly what you find wrong with it? Not just saying ETC.

no nothing is wrong with it i missread the price i thought u were initially putting it up for stupid amounts like 1 billion isk trying to start forcing some market somewhere else..
145 MILLION now i see lols, whats the avg sale price for a hulk today? they used to sit around 130 if i remembver, ive not played in a few mnths now..
i should start playing again but its such a time sink for me, and to think i got a wasting high end researcher/builder (she was last sold for 8 billion isk) sitting around doing nothing right now.. and an orc pilot/miner and fighter char.. Such a waste

I bought it for 134m. It did sell at the price of 145m. 134 seems to be about average buying price and 145m is some of the cheapest you can buy. There are some prices around 160/170 but I can't imagine anyone actually buys those. 7.89% margin of profit on the Hulk. The mega also sold for a 6.90% profit.

Best way to make money is to keep track on where one of the big alliances move and start seeding the closest low-sec system. For example when IT - and friends - moved to Pure Blind I made some good ISKs seeding Saranen and Torrinos. There's usually good traffic and you can charge unhealthy prices for a couple of weeks until their jump freighters starts landing.
Don't seed with the common merchandise like ammo, 220mm vulcans and nanofibers. Seed with the more exotic stuff that won't get filled immediately. Then you might have monopoly for a week longer.

Hi guys,
I was thinking of starting a new Eve Online character from scratch and had a few questions.
I played the game for 2 or 3 months like 2 years ago so I know the basics.
The thing is that I really don't have lots of time to invest in the game (maybe one or two hours a day) so I was wondering if it's worth it. I like doing stuff solo but I know that being in a corp is pretty much required in Eve. So what exactly can I do in the new expansion with little game time except doing random missions and levelling random skills ?

The best option for a low time eve player would be to get learning skills up, then focus on a proffession that allows you to be offline most the time while your work is done for you, that could be invention/research/manufacture and now planet resource mining..
If your starting from scratch, its going to be a while before you get into it anyhow, so most your early days will be training up for what u need and that takes a fair while, also u dont need to be online for that, but only login to add more skills to the training que..
if u like eve and want to play long term in the future, that is probably your best bet right now..

Hey, i've decided to give the game a go and so far in the trial im liking it. I'm stuck on my career choice now. I am kind of interested in exploration but yeah, I have no idea what I am doing or how this game works. What should I focus on in beginning? What should i be doing?
Some help would be nice, i'm kind of lost now on how to progress after the basic tutorial.

Need to stop reading. I have neither money nor time for a mmo.
Although getting into eve sounds like a neat idea.
Then again, I suppose any mmo that is more mature than wow would be a neat idea

why the hell would u want auto trading... the idea is to play the game not sit around doing fuck all
the resource gathering is fine though cause you can set times up to 94hrs i think it was for a finished overall cycle time.. and within that alloted time is a set resource gathered time per say 30 mins etc..
cartoon, planetary resource gathering is pretty much open to everyone even at an early age, can get into it with 4 skills trained to lvl 3 or so...
Eve is unfortunatley too mind blowing for alot of people, those that come from easier mmo's tend to bitch and swear alot in npc corp or help chat about how long it takes how hard it is etc,, eve website has a really good info base for all areas of the game, and then you got eve wiki/eve uni wki etc again with phenom guidance...
you can either dig it and work it out, or you will move on.... there is only so many times one can say "stick it out" but eve's learning curve is larger than any mmo ive been in, and the old graph that was posted for laughs about it being a learning cliff is not really that far fetched to the easier mmo player trying eve for the first time..
To give people info is hard going cause alot of effort in explanation could take place, for people to suddenly fuck off after you have done is pretty wind knocked out your sails scenario
Its why I always point people to the website info first before they ask more deeper questions.. I dont mind answering nuances at all but some self interest and reading is key also..
@Mehee "x³-universe-trader-supercomplex-godness"
you mean single player goodness but fails cause its rather cruddy with its Ai and its not human to human interaction.

*sigh* The person who hates MMO's the most is now an eve convert. Say hello to the Rookie
I'm doing all the tutorial missions now. The learning curve is like a brick wall lol, it's not so much the game that's the learning curve, it's the UI haha.

Ui is not the best but its pretty unatrusive and does the job fine.. ive seen worse in space environments..
the tutorals are ok if ur a total nub to it as well, and its worth doing i guess, there is a 3 paths u can choose later on in the tutorial alot of people starting out do them all as u get some isk to start off and modules and implants in the missions..
just remember the game is not about primarily pve/missions long term... although high level missions in future can bring you good isk, via the outcome and the salvaging from the mission... brain ache awaits on your choise of direction though plenty you can train to do in eve..
