Oh ffs, the diplomacy is pissing me off. How many times can the AI betray right in the middle of a war? Three fucking times. I forge alliances spanning fucking millenia, we go to war together and bam, right in teh middle of it "HAHA suck it motherfucker, I'm turning on you while all your troops are away". Three times with three different leaders in a single game. I understand it could happen, but this is plain ridiculous.

It was probably already in post-production, when those two DLCs were developed.

I was always an avid Civ player but this version just didnt do it for me.

How is the game nowadays after patches and more importantly how are the mods for this? I always liked the Rise Of Mankind Mod for Civ4.

can you add downloaded DLC to a legit version of CIV5?

Only if you use crack, to start the game, as far as I know.

Can anybody confirm this? Must I use crack to run the game?
I have legit version with Mongols DLC. Can I just copy rest of DLC folder (overwrite if needed) from JBeckman update pack? Is there any risk with next steam update?
Thanks Smile

You just missed it fairly cheap on the Steam Autumn Sale. It depends how soon you want it - it'll almost certainly be on offer again during the Steam Christmas Sale, but that's not for another 3 weeks. Not sure where the cheapest place to buy it now is, though, sorry.

Yuplay has a "Gold Edition" - It's missing the last 2 DLCs only as far as I can tell.

http://yuplay.ru/story.php?title=Sid-Meiers-Civilization-5--%D0%97%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%BE%D0%B5-%D0%B8%D0%B7%D0%B4%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%B5-%28Steam-%D0%B2%D0%B5%D1%80%D1%81%D0%B8%D1%8F%29

Use Google Chrome as your browser or you'll need to use the translator in your browser. Price is £7 - maybe 8 euros or $10 (approx) - credit card needed.

nothing of interest for me in that patch... fixing multiplayer they say...

who plays this game in multiplayer? and what about the horrendous single player on relative big maps? and what about diplomacy?

Its pretty atrocious that they after over 1 year still are working on making the multiplayer stable. What about all thats missing from multiplayer? But at this point people are just so desperate and cling to whatever they can get.

Both yes and no catoon. Because the game should not have been it such a bad state when released, and over a year after. But I guess fair play for still working on it, although slow. For some reason I still have hope that in a year or two the game will be decent enough to play and worth the 7 euro I gave for it.
