Have to put my dog down in a few hours.
She's been with me through everything, she's like 18, super old. It's just her time I'm afraid...
Requesting general cheer up thread. Can you guys post hugs, or penises, whichever.

Well in the end, you can always take comfort in the "fact" that she'll be watching you masturbate from the other side.

No really I'm sorry to hear that. I know how pets can become part of you. You can get pretty close to animals.

I'm sorry to hear that, I've been through this with my cat around one month ago (she was 18 too)..the first days are absolutely terrible but time will heal the grief, at least partially.

I feel your pain man. We had to put two dogs to sleep, a german shepherd and a colossal grey mastiff, both due to illness. It's not easy, just think about how long her life was instead of the fact that she is no longer around. Celebrate life instead of mourn death.

Of course people get attached to dogs a lot more, because dogs are emotional and are genuinely happy to see you when you come home, and when you feel down they come to cheer you up, while cats lick their ass all day and look for food. And shit inside your house.

It's not always like that though, mine was a 100% indoor pet and never trusted anyone except for me, she was a very dog-like cat (at least until the old age, when she became a lazy ass ).

Thanks Hfric, now it's a party in here.
It was kinda' fucked up, she was kinda' upbeat today also, which is a change for her... Made it even more difficult. One second she's walking around the room, next... no more.
I cried like a fool for awhile, but it's all done, no more pain for her...
Continue cheering me up please.

My thoughts are with you mate. Had to put our 13 year old Collie down in January, it's never easy.
