Have to put my dog down in a few hours. Crying or Very sad

She's been with me through everything, she's like 18, super old. It's just her time I'm afraid...

Requesting general cheer up thread. Can you guys post hugs, or penises, whichever.

Well in the end, you can always take comfort in the "fact" that she'll be watching you masturbate from the other side.

No really I'm sorry to hear that. I know how pets can become part of you. You can get pretty close to animals.

Crying or Very sad I'm sorry to hear that, I've been through this with my cat around one month ago (she was 18 too)..the first days are absolutely terrible but time will heal the grief, at least partially. Sad

I feel your pain man. We had to put two dogs to sleep, a german shepherd and a colossal grey mastiff, both due to illness. It's not easy, just think about how long her life was instead of the fact that she is no longer around. Celebrate life instead of mourn death.

Seems people get way more emotionally attached to a dog than a cat :/
Cats are food whores that doesn't really care about who gives them food Laughing

2 years ago my cat just disappeared and never came back. Didn't feel that sad, had no way to know if it was dead or not... so was more annoyed :/ Would have been way worse if I found it killed somewhere tho Sad He most likely got killed by a fox... quite few of them around here. He became 17 years old btw. Pretty old for a cat.

Anyway stay strong man Smile

Of course people get attached to dogs a lot more, because dogs are emotional and are genuinely happy to see you when you come home, and when you feel down they come to cheer you up, while cats lick their ass all day and look for food. And shit inside your house. Laughing

Cats are more hygienic so they will at least try to hide their shit Very Happy Iv always been good at letting it out do its business in time.

And dogs are way to high maintenance for a lazy guy like me Laughing
I prolly would be attached to him and not even caring about picking up his shit and so on..

It's not always like that though, mine was a 100% indoor pet and never trusted anyone except for me, she was a very dog-like cat Razz (at least until the old age, when she became a lazy ass Very Happy).

Thanks Hfric, now it's a party in here. Wink

It was kinda' fucked up, she was kinda' upbeat today also, which is a change for her... Made it even more difficult. One second she's walking around the room, next... no more.

I cried like a fool for awhile, but it's all done, no more pain for her...

Continue cheering me up please.

Know the feeling our dogs also lived to be 16 and 15 Sad Smile Sad

Now we have two of these but it took us 3 years to get the nerve to get another dog
