I did and it was originally posted on DSO;
http://www.dsogaming.com/news/skyrim-realistic-overhaul-is-a-must-have-texture-pack-version-1-1-released/
Quote: |
Features:
- SRO 1_1 version contain previous Landscape textures. Some are new, but mostly normal maps are improved. They reflect lighting properly now.
- New feature are Cities, Temples, Dungeons, Villages textures.
- Architecture:
- Markarth
- Riften
- Solitude
- Whiterun
- Windhelm
- Winterhold
- Skyhaventemple
- Sovngarde
- Highhrothgar
- Dungeons:
- Caves
- Dwemer Ruins
- Imperial
- Nordic
- Riften
- Villages are also improved and some interior textures.
- Texture resolution is mostly 2048k.
- Mountains are now also 2048k. 4096k version will be optional, separate download.
- My original plan was to put this pack in to separated bsa files. But because of size it was not an option. Unpacked mod is 3.8gb large.

No probs, hopefully the mod maker only set it to hidden while he uploads the rest of the files.

and when the first DLC (or expansion) should be out ? The game is incredibly long, immersive and absolutely not boring at all ~~

And how to compare all this texture goodness?
For instance between Realistic Overhaul and Serious HD Retexture http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=2146 ?
You can open textures in irfanview and compare, but a lot has also to do with normal maps.
I'll trust JBeckman advice if you have one: how do you pick your texture packs (not considering performance as a choice criteria)?
Thanks

With the new Realistic Overhaul I'm having some stuttering that I didn't have before, I guess the official HD textures+Overhaul is a bit too much even for my system. Back to the old "light" version

so, how many hours are you in this game ?
Here, mage-warrior at Level 32, 66 hours up to now
Skyrim is f**king epic, tell you
By the way, where can you find enchantments ? cause I can find goul gems for weapon, but nothing about enchanting items, lol.

You have to disenchant items at an enchantment table.
