So guys does it look like they are heading after a more realistic Forza and GT5 as Ian has said in his latest interview ( http://www.virtualr.net/autosimsport-volume-6-issue-2-out )or are they after the likes of rFactor 2 - Assetto Corsa as in a full blooded sim.
Question is regarding the physics, as its fairly easy to see their screenshots on different sites.

This actually urged me to fix my G25 so I reopened it few days ago and retried finding the problem. At last, I did! Cheap Logitech use too many plastic parts sometimes. Sad

What's that thing?

I have some issues with my G25, which i bought 10 days ago. The noise wheel makes is much higher when turning left then when turning right. Is this a normal thing for a 2 and a half year old wheel which has never been serviced or cleaned?
And, will it help if i open it and lube the shit out of it? Very Happy

That's part of the optical sensor in the wheel, right? Looks like it could be easily fixed by some glue, tape and MacGyver voodoo Very Happy

My G25 has a different problem, the brake pedal is giving spikes at the top of its position, right now my temporary solution is a big deadzone but that's really not a fix. Looks like Logitech used some cheap potenciometers in them.

There anyway to race against each other in these builds yet? Or is it still just timetrials or against the computer (lame)

When there is some sort of online competition in this game I'd pick it up. Until then i'm happy with iracing and other racers for my fix.

Right now there is no multiplayer in the Alpha (its still an alpha...).

Multiplayer will be build in later this year.

But i can understand you. I testet it but as long as it doesnt have a basic multiplayer mode, its not that interesting for me.

That part is a circular device which has little notches that work in conjunction with the light sensor that sits in front of it. Unfortunately, those idiots @ Logitech used a very delicate plastic part so it cracked and broke lose of the motor axle. It's supposed to rotate with the axle so the light sensor can do the calibration process.

Will be fixed in a jiffy though. A little superglue and a spring will do the job.

Put in a load cell instead of the potentiometer - about 75 dollars though

WTF are all those conifers doing there? Get that shit out of my Mt Panorama. They also made the place look like a desert. Fix up the track and licence some proper cars for it and I'd be tempted to grab it.

No harm in stripping the cover off the pedal set and blowing or hovering out any accumulated dust and debris.

Oh that part I did as soon as it started. The pot is just worn out. Right now it's not a huge problem, I can live with that deadzone, but I know that it will get worse.
Will see, either I will just get a replacement pot like outtanames suggested or try something more advanced.

they are pretty awesome.
