you know when someone´s been ruined from D3 lootsystem.FFA loot on public games? Cant get end game gear in 2 days? Game must be shit

i'm playing a glass canon range caster. i canot get to the items reserved for me in time, if i want to keep the dps high, and not to break fights every time an item drop. even if im not glass canon, i will not get to close to fights.
lets say in a party of two people i do 70% of dps and get 0 drops, a tank do 30% dps, get 100% drops. how exactly this is a fair system for a ranger/caster which is just doing his job ?
and clearing inferno in diablo taked me shitload of more time vs finishing the whole acts on merciless in poe. so be sure that im not expecting end game gear in few days.
but i'm sort of expecting if im for the first time (or 4 time) on a level 66 map, and my gear is level (-)50, to find something like a small upgrade at least.
ah, and how about another side of the the retarded loot system when someone, summoner preferably stays on your reserved loot, and you are spending time clicking on him, or summons, instead of ther item ?

the loot system in path of exile is horrible to be honest..
There should at least be a roll option.. or an option to increase the timer for items being reserved for more than 5 seconds . I hate partying the more i play..

rd, roll option will only clutter the screen, and all people will roll need anyway in most cases. but hey, at least you will get a chance to roll for something.

i find more gold to buy better items in d3, then i would find items, period, in poe

Decided to roll an alt to my crit witch, its a work in progress but im thinking of something like captain america, meaning someone that does huge damage with their shield. Im gonna go elemental damage, coupled with as many increased block nodes I can find. Using the templar.
With shield bash I can run into a pack of mobs, let them hit me and then let tempest shield and molten shell do the rest.
Ive heard mixed feelings conserning resolute technique but I might get that. Also curious about elemental equilibrium. You could hit enemies with say fire and then let tempest etc do the work.
Also lightning strike is a must, and some good attack against single strong mob.
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!

where is said that shit drops sent me back to d3 ?
is clearly stated : exp loss on dying which led to endless docks farming, shit loot SYSTEM, which i believe i explained just fine what issues i have with.
Valtiel, try harder. at least add some comments.
is not like there is not a 500 page topic on poe forum about how shit ffa is.

I'm running with around 80% increased chance to drop rare items. Need one more level to be able to socket item rarity gem.
Even now, before the gem, i have noticed much better loot now. Gems, orbs, decent amount of yellow items and a lot of blue ones. I also have 5 unique items so far (Queen's Decree, Redbeak, Kaom's sign, Perandus Blazon, Shavronne's Pace).
All of those i got playing solo on default settings while playing lighting strike + tempest templar.

I only grouped once for Merveil and never again. If D3 did one thing right it's assigning every player his own loot.

The vendor system isnt too easy to get into, all them recipes, but It beats the regular gold system for sure so far

I agree on the party/loot system. Sucks ass.
Plus no way to teleport to your party members seamlessly like you can in D3.

how can you tell who the ninja is, when 5 people rush to get an orb/yellow ?
and you kick one, just to get another. and another. and another.
and whats the point to kick a ninja after the boss is down when it does not matter anyway ?
people ninjaing stuff are not the issue (because is inherent in human nature). the shit loot system is.
and in wow (which i don't know why you bring in the discution because it have nothing to do with a arpg) you had at least the chance to roll for it, and it support different types of loot methods. and yet, people are still pissed anyway when it happened.
