It is a problem with Internet Explorer
When I load with IE it is slow as hell and has forgotten my login
But in Opera or Firefox is fine

Same with me, slow in IE.

It is especially bad when scrolling, it's like it freezes... Weird Question

Edit: I think it has something to do with sigs, they take ages to load, and until they do, scrolling is very choppy. Thing is if I direct link to them they load fine Question Question .

I must have said this a million times already: Its IE.

IE's crappy engine doesnt seem too fond of CSS with alot of table-data, the display tags are giving it alot of probs too. There's nothing we can do, blame Internet Exploder or get a better browser. IE is pants anyway, feature, performance, stability and security wise.

I have some problems with loading the site with Opera 8.02. Sometimes it stops when connecting to a add at clicktorrent.info and has to time out before it continues.
It only happens in about 1 / 20 page-loads or something, but when it does it's kind of annoying Smile

I have problems with Firefox. Every time I visit the site, I have to login.
Seems the site forgets my cookies everytime. Already tried to empty cache and delete cookies. Same problem.

Is the nav bar on left a java applet (as opposed to java script)? The page always stops to load for a long time when it hits the nav bar. Java applets are the worst pieces of shite to slow down browsers to a crawl.

Niether actually. We do have to use a javascript hack in IE tho, so it mimics CSS behaviour as specified in the specs. God damn M$ and IE. IE is nothing but a plague.

Hmmm, the pauses are helped a lot with sigs turned off but it still happens on occasion.

Either the navbar or the adverts causing it perhaps?

Scaramanga, the clicktorrent.info is not a "problem" or a "bug". Its an ad-server which is probably overloaded and thus hangs the page. It doesnt matter which browser you use. We are trying to find a way to solve it because its slowing the page down considerably, we know.

This has been happening to me ever since the new design also.
Sometimes the Options menu will even appear under the NForce title too and hang for 30 secs.
Each page takes up to a minute to load and some pages don't even load completely. Sad Crying or Very sad

I have no problems like this on any other sites and I use IE.

Its not a design issue. Our bandwidth is currently clogged up to it's neck. We are getting the line's upgraded this week. After that, everything should go back to it's normal, fast self Smile
