This. Not to mention that if it was a guy, a friend, Kurosaki wouldn't have made a scene like that. So if anything he's the one that's not treating her equal.

maybe we read it different is why. I see it as her being arrogant, uncooperative, and selfish..which caused the situation. Wasnt there, so I could be wrong.
I read he was trying to find a nice place they both will enjoy to eat despite its busy everywhere..she decides to be condescending and selfish and drag him into the first place she sees that is nasty. HE says he doesn't want to eat there..she gets in a huff and just walks out without saying anything..
I say lack of respect gets lack of respect in return. I don't see how holding someones arm to stop them to talk to them is an attack..
But he reacted different than I would have. She gets up and walks out in a bitch fit, and I'm not dating her? good luck to her for the night, shes a big girl and making her own decision to leave. I'm going to get up and find me the place to eat I wanted to in the first place. if she wishes to join me when she sees me, the chair is open.
And I agree, if shes just a asshole..Id have picked a better travel partner

Yea, it was a huge mistake to go on a vecation with her... I mean the first days were pretty nice but since I found about the guy....damn. and she's almost every second on her mobile phone texting with him. from morning to evening. the vibration of her phone woke me up couple days ago. I've asked her nicely to turn the vibration off during sleeping time....and thankfully she did it.
well, fuck it. going back to the room soon.

But that's the point of it all, he's emotionally involved. If there was nothing between them he could have let her walk away and he'd go his separate way. But since we're all reading about this and giving advice its obvious he's not sure of his reaction (which i think was unjustified and fueled by his anger of the whole "cheating" thing).

True, think he got into it too deep too quick, when she wasnt in that mindset at all.
Best I can say is just cut the loses, and let it go. I mean the attachment you had, not the vacation. If you hold onto it, its just going to eat you up, while with her its not even an issue to think about to start with.
And as far as the popular with the ladies thing..I think its the idea that we wouldn't want to be popular with a lady like that to start with...so just going to eat at the other place and letting her go, is one less lady we don't need to worry about

This is what confuses me. If I went on vacation with someone, dating them or not. Id assume that since we are going as a guy girl, intimacy would be a assumption on both our parts (that would be a bit of mutually agreed, even if not spoken outloud)...otherwise just hang out with them at a local bar at home and save the money..haha

Aha, now who is using gender. So if you go with a girl, sex is assumed (intimacy is just a wrong word!), but if you go with a "guy" friend, all is good?
It all comes down to how she saw the relationship. If she saw it as platonic, I don't see how sex is (implicitly or explicitly) assumed. |

And thats what I was implying..that if i took a female with me on a vacation, with the intent of doing it with her, I would make sure that shes is in the same mindset before hand since thats a lot of the reason IM going. Id make sure shes on board with that idea before hand.

I think you just read things incorrectly. I am saying that you should not expect sex regardless of the sex. If you are not in a (mutually agreed ) relationship, no sex is expected. With some women, I guess, buying them a gift is enough of a "turn on" to go into bed with you, but I assume usually the better of women.

Actually I really don't know StEFaN7..I've only really ever took 2 'vacations' in the aspect of going to some other place for the hell of it to stay there a while.
And both times was with a chick I was dating. Once was a girl before I was married that planned it, and the other my wife that planned it.
(plus I travel a lot for work, so 'going places' for the sake of seeing it wore off on me LONG ago).
I'm personally the type that doesn't see the point in vacations. If I can't keep myself entertained and happy within 10 miles of my house regularly..I need to move, instead of going place to look at things that make me forgot how boring where I live is
My idea of a vacation is getting away from everything..that includes people I know. It would be going some place just for the fact that no one will bother me, need anything from me, or annoy me

For example I had to goto Israel for my job, and my birthday was while I was there, on a Friday..I had 4 days to myself they let me have...I stayed in the hotel, slept a lot, played games, watched TV. and wandered around within 3 blocks of the hotel to get food..BEST vacation ever! 4 days of no one needing a damn thing from me, and no schedule at all to follow.

But back to the thead, I think you realized it already...but your into her a LOT more than shes is into you.
And I cant judge from one situation given, but if shes like that to you a lot (not caring about your opinion, trumping any mutual decisions on a whim) and you are like that to her in return (snippy, gets aggravated with her personality, not working to meet on decisions you disagree with, etc) then even if she was into you, id suggest taking it sloooow..
As after being married 17 years, I figured out a relationship isn't determined about how well you get along when your having fun, its about how well you can get along when shit hits the fan between you 2..Basically how good is the relationship at its lowest point, not its highest.
take anything that happens in the first 6 months at a low point..and think "what would this turn into in 10 years if this happened, when neither of us are holding back for the sake of 'being good'."
if this is how it turns out while still in that "warm fuzzy exotic location with a new mate" phase, it probably isn't the best choice to pursue it

Propably one of those common women that just try to get men to do whatever they want whenever they want.
