Not that I doubt GTA IV/V car damage, but in case of 100% totaled vehicles the model is replaced. It's not the original one badly damaged.

Yup, that will be fine. I used to run my 360 at 1680 via VGA and the scaling was really nice, a lot better than trying to force my monitor into a non-native output. Nowadays I just use the stock 1080 and let the 360 scale it itself.

You can use hdmi splitter for audio, that's what I use. The problem with VGA is it's crap and is susceptible to signal noise which can make shit fuzzy. The higher the resolution, the more the noise interferes. With 1080p it's really noticeable compared to clean digital input. |
