You probably need original .exe v1.00 , but since only .exe updated - put only the crack and you are good to go.

* The graphics are pretty much awful, i mean we are 2013 guys ... wtf is that !??
* Player faces are also the worst i've ever seen in a soccer (even sports) game the last couple of years. 90% of the Real Madrid players are made just awful, and "awful" doesn't even fully discribes how bad and shitty they are. Basically from what i've saw ~ 90% of the game faces are unbelieveble shit.
* Gameplay wise there are some good changes compared to the last 2 or 3 PES titles, but the game continues to lack a large amount of things. The gameplay for me is too slow, the ball is moving like forever, so i put the game speed on +1. And i'm a guy who plays FIFA on slow speed, so no, im not fan of the quick, arcade game speed.
Bottom line - the large ammount of missing players, teams, licences, leagues and etc., the bad presentation, music, menus, gaming modes, in-game commentary, the as always awful and laggy online mode and the urgent need of fixes, patches and stuff .... all of those things + a large ammount of gameplay things and bugs and even more, makes me wonder who would buy such a mess !? I mean this is not even a well polished product, the "whole pack" is as always missing, you are buying a product with large ammount of incorrect transfers and rosters .... and that's one of the easiest things to do, and still year after year KONAMI keeps doing the same thing with tha old squads and incorrect trasnfers.
So with so much stuff missing and needing too much fixing, this is not a end product, this is not what a company like KONAMI should ship worldwide like a "finish product", its more like a Alpha/Beta ... yesterday i thought i was playing the demo when i realised that this for god sakes is the end product, the official release of the game ...
But for me the biggest dissapointment are the faces and the graphics - just awful, awful!
FIFA is just the better game, the better product, the all in one game, with almost perfect support thought the whole year with every week updates and stuff ... the game is really really close to the on going real football action. That's the thing i like the most in FIFA.
I'm not a PES hater, or FIFA fan, actually every year i try them both with the idea of playing the better game, well since 2011 FIFA has always been the better one.
True Story!

Well, if you think the graphics and faces are awful, which I'm gonna go ahead and call as "fair enough" as I have already stated multiple times that football games today are all of them years behind, then I can only imagine you realize thet FIFA graphics are even worse, unless, you consider cartoonish graphics to be awesome
Other than that I agree with most of your points except maybe with your last line, as your take on "what the better game is since 2011" is obviously very different from mine, I guess we both seek different things from a football game |
Actually yes, FIFA graphics are better than this years PES, at least the graphics are polished, something that is completely missing on PES 2014. With the new engine i was expecting some solid graphics, i never thought KONAMI will actually take a step back in that "department" of the game.
FIFA 12 & FIFA 13 are for me without a doubt better than PES 12 & 13, and i mean with a huge advantage. FIFA 11 for PC was 1/2 NG and had some technical issues, but again for me was way better than PES 11 at that time.
Are you saying that u think PES 11, 12 and 13 (one of them or more) was/were better than the same years FIFA product ?

The graphics on pes 2014 are good when your watching a replay etc, but the level of detail from gameplay cameras takes alot of that detail away and makes it look ok only, basicly it would be great with a lod mod or something. Also the lightning is really inconsistent, play during the day and visuals are much better than at night.

Then let's just agree to disagree
And no, what I'm saying is that PES has been better in 2013 and 2014. I didn't play PES 11 and 12 and I heard pretty awful things about them, then reviews for PES 13 hit the net ayear ago and they were most of them very positive which interested me in trying it and turns out they were spot on So, it still is consistent with me opposing your notion than PES has been better every year since 2011.
This is my detailed comparison between PES /FIFA which applies to both 2013 and 2014:
1. Presentation: FIFA is way above PES in this, like it has always been. Better menues, better commentaries, better music, a product that feels much more polished in general.
1. Gameplay: much deeper and rewarding in PES. FIFA is just plain repetitive and boring. A yearly rehash of the previous year with a couple of shallow fancy named "additions". None of the games is a simulation, but if one of them is trying and gets closer, it's defiinitely PES.
2. A.I: much better in PES, especially in the defensive side of things. Goalkeepers inconsistent as usual and sometimes plain bad (this is not the case with FIFA, where GK AI is decent and stable).
3. Content and licenses: FIFA owns PES, period. KONAMI can't into securing agreements with brands, associations and clubs. That gives the game a serious disadvantage with many players (not me in particular as I'm mod lover).
4. Online: I confess I haven't really been into the online component of PES, but from word of mouth I'm gonna assume here that FIFA is the winner.
5. Graphics: waaaaay superior in PES, but, apparently the animations were still off in 2013. That has been considerably worked on for the new edition and now with the improved physicality I'm gonna be conservative and say they're at least "on par" with FIFA's. And graphics went quite a few levels up with the 2014 edition. Now PES is on the right track to produce realistic graphics (still lots of room for improvement) while FIFA is loyal to their colourful albeit cartoonish look. Breaks immersion for me personally.

I feel like you're playing a different game tbh, i haven't experienced any of those things you said about A.I and Gameplay.
and no it's not because we don't know how to play the game, as it requires someone with higher intellect, it's because this game is flawed in many ways.
i already got bored with it sadly.

I don't see this deep and rewarding gameplay that you mention. Game feels more on rails than ever. It really feels like I'm not controlling the players but just yelling from the touchline and they are doing their own thing. Its like they are not even aware of where the ball is. I've had ball bouncing out of feet and players just standing there. Defending mechanics are awful, there is zero intensity about it. Just contain contain until the guy makes a mistake or not because the controls are unresponsive.
Anyway, shooting is awful, ball physics are awful, passing is also awful due to the shitty ball physics. The manual settings don't feel any different to me, they felt a lot different in the previous games. Dribbling also feels very clumsy, the only way to dribble apparently is to do tricks who btw use retarded controls. Goalkeepers are somewhat improved but still terrible, lobbed shots are unstoppable.
The only good thing for me is the animations, they really need to build on this new engine but I don't see it happening soon. Disappointing really.

Shame. I was really looking forward to this one.. |

With vsync on, i have a 1 second lag when changing players, tackling, shooting..
With vsync off, there is no lag at all, whatever i do. |
Damn you are right Disabled vsync and now I can release pass/shoot button later than before.
But now the framerate seems less smooth.. |
I was experiencing this issue too and managed to get rid of it by manually limiting the framerate through the Nvidia inspector - while also keeping vsync disabled:
Now the lag is gone, and the game doesn't have that slight stuttering anymore, worth a try I guess.
I believe it's possible to do something similar with MSI Afterburner too (in case you have an AMD card).

Btw, most people that dislike the game have expressed how the animations are awful. So you see, there's many different perceptions and like already hinted, in the end it comes down to what every single person expects from a football game. And the on-rails thing you mentioned seems odd, I've never felt so much freedom in a footbal videogame before |
True. At this moment there is no question. PES 2014 is the better football game. Fifa is the same game it was three years ago and frankly I'm worried for pc Fifa franchise. EA may simply do as they did the last console generation change and leave all the improvements for next gen versions. |
I don't support the whole "no-ignite for PC" either.
And i played PES 2014 yesterday after downloading it. After i saw the trailers i expected far more, after i heard the comments i expected far less.
But it was a rather positive experience. And yet, after having played the FIFA 14 demo, i must admit that PES is still no real for opponent for fifa anymore, not since 2011.
They really have to step up their game.
Graphics in PES are still very underwhelming. Animations are partially great and then horrible. Faces are mostly terrible and the AI is even worse than Fifa's, which i could rant about the whole day.
Add to that the fact that they are missing many teams/licenses - it's def Fifa for me, again, this year.
But i will try some more Pes 2014 nontheless.

Got to wait for the mods to kick in and we can do a better comparison between the 2 games. Kinda sad that pes will never be that good from the get go, but thats what u get when competing with such big companies like EA.
E: http://www.moddingway.com/file/37055.htm - a transfer patch.l finally what I was waiting for. Ill try master league now.
