I dont know it just seemed like it was a kick, and i spec'd it a few times now think it was either 2nd or 3rd one in on the list if I recall.. what I do know is they fall down on mass if more than one is near me when its used. I didnt pay attention to the big details on the spec reading when took, it just looked better overall than the first option which seemed boring.

Sounds like the sweep to me and I wasn't asking for a video recording, I just want to SEE what you're talking about :\ Either way, it doesn't matter, it sounds like a sweep.

This! The Trucker Warehouse is brilliant and has enormous expansion potential as well as being right there in town, unlike the Farm or the base near the fairground.

Hm ?

Is this released ? (also what is this lol)

Released on Early Access, it's the full and complete game that is ported directly from the 360, just with better visuals and performance. No mouse/keyboard *support* yet but that's coming later. I say *support* because it does have a very basic m/k input in-game but nothing fine-tuned and the mouse is terrible, you'll need a 360 controller to play properly. As for what it is? It's an open-world zombie survival simulation RPG Smile

hehe sabin, ill try next time its in use to pay attention to how the animation goes so I can confirm it one way or other for you, but yes if sweep knocks them over its probably that ill check the skills list as well when next in game.

ah right. I see how these locations are good given how the game works. but im trying to go for the 'authentic Forever Alone ' experience. something secluded. not with flimsy shoulder high walls or weak chainlink fences=P

Let's hope for modding capability then, because I agree! There are some places in this game that I thought would have made far better, and more logical, home base solutions Smile I also hope for another map too, or a whole suite of new maps! It's a CE3 title so modding isn't a problem based on that, CryEngine SDK is free, but it's whether Undead Labs will leave the game open to modding or not Sad

How big is the game world ? I get the impression it's fairly small?

I like the setting, ran into some invisible wall quite quickly though when trying to explore Sad Same shit as in Dead Island..

Not small, not huge either. Half the size of GTA IV. Don't take that as exact, it's just the feeling I had of how big it was

I'd say it's sufficient. Just a pity that you can't make any building as your home. Atm there are way too little choices and quite a few nice buildings being left out. Smile

Established a home base in the fair area near the third settlement, from what I've read it's either that or the trucker outpost and this was better suited for the current mission locations.

There's thirteen survivors at the place and all-in-all there's probably less than twenty people alive in the whole valley by now, mostly death by scripted means but a few have died because I didn't reach them in time.

Game is almost over from what I can tell, I suppose it's going to end on a cliffhanger or some such since I can see a area further out but it's all LOD area and there's no way to get there without cheating.

Been fun though it gets a bit repetitive doing the same tasks over and over.

* made the game less dark
* fixed single core (and machines set to single core mode) game not working (aka "black screen")
* fixed radio on left alt button

There are other black screen issues, but we're hammering away on them. Try reducing your resolution, playing in windowed mode, updating drivers, verifying files, and rebooting after a patch/fresh installation. All of these things have "solved" the black screen issue for your fellow players, so they could get into the game while we work on more permanent solutions.

The last note should not be taken as evidence that we're ready to take the controller-only label off the game. It SHOULD be taken as evidence that we are watching you all make the keyboard work in spite of itself, and we want to make the waiting for the real deal a little easier on you.

Another update today, this time it modified the following files;

StateofDecay.exe
>Engine>config.pak
>Game>Gamedata.pak
>Game>Objects.pak
>Game>Levels>Class3>levels.pak

Objects.pak is 500MB and I didn't want to faff around with xdelta, so I just packed the whole thing.. sorry..

~edit~

Oh you bitch-ass chump Sad Sorry guys, to save trouble I packed the steam_api.dll crack too... so you'll have to get the files from WBB since I can't post it here now Facepalm

~edit~

Fuck it.

http://www.putlocker.com/file/C55E6D9EF0D0016C

Update3 files, specially packed for NFO *without* the damned steam_api.dll Laughing

I don't understand why the keyboard and mouse controls are some kind of big issue for them. I assumed it would've been one of the first and easiest things to implement in the PC version.

I don't get it either, of all the porting tasks I'd have thought setting up the keyboard would be one of the easier ones - especially since CE has native k/m input. Oh well, it's not like the game is a horror to play on the controller, so it's okay for me... for now.

It's weird indeed because the rest of the game is quite polished considering the "work in progress" state, probably they simply don't consider it a priority :/ (although the amount of users asking for it in the forums is huge). Or perhaps they have in mind to change the interface as well so they'll release the whole 'package'..who knows.

Let's hope for the best Razz, I've played it for a couple of hours with my 360 gamepad but didn't feel very comfortable.

I'm pretty dissapointed with the rate of their patches, and that they only the seem to fix very minor things. Besides the very first patch, that increased performance greatly for me.

Taking so long for keyboard/mouse and 16:10 resolutions.. Surprised

I guess with that speed i should not hope for that sandbox mode this year Sad

Just because they haven't been in the patches doesn't mean they are not being worked on. They are a small team of 25 that are still working on the Sandbox mode for x360 as well as the PC version. Cut them some slack.

If you are using FTS you need to have Update 2 installed first. I forgot to mention that.
I've put failed update function to the .bat so you can restore your old files if patch fails. Hope you pressed Y or y when you saw the error.
After you put update 2 apply update 3 again.

Get it from FTS forum itself. Smile

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I know, that's why I don't bother, hope they hurry the fuck up with the implementation, dunno why the bitching that should have been the first thing done in the PC version.
