Probably its not the crack, its the game itself.

Fan? Are you talking about my profile? It sounds like you are talking about BF3 platoon, as I don't recall you could fan a single player/account.

Given the comments in that thread and my personal experience with that setting on W7, it's all a placebo effect.

What's with the texture degradiation on Hainan Resort? I play with High etc and when Hainan loads, everything ground-related looks like Medium at max.
Sidenote - I grinded half of the day yesterday to get positive K/D ratio. Seems harder somehow than BF3. Maybe because the starting gear feels a bit downsided.

There is still something "off" about the shooting in this game:
- a very subtle micro-stuttering
- hitreg being random off and not registering "accurate"(?) based on personal visual input (headshots not counting etc.)
- hitting an opponent 3-5-7 times and dying from (apparently) his first or second bullet
- bullets going "through" an opponent and not registering at ALL the hit
- something very weird with DMR weapons, as it takes forever to kill someone (needs 5-7 hits - that APPEAR registered in the hitbox - the crosshair notifies)
No idea what might be. But I bet it's 99% on the DICE side. BF3 is absolutely smooth, my K/D ratio is 2 and my "personal" skill is way, WAY above the one in BF4.
All this randomized performance that is dependent on clearly present issues made me considering to give up this game and either play BF3 or returning and giving PS2 a second chance.

doesn't surprise me about the headshot issue i had that with bad company 2 and at the start of bf3 they remedied it mostly with a patch
The thing is the hitbox is clientside so lag does affect it (atleast did in bf3 can't comment on bf4 i'm a bit on the fence about buying too much great stuff coming out lately)

The default shotty is fine as you can spam shots, unlike with the 870.

I don't think so, I believe you need to complete the requirements/challenges to be able to use them.
