holy shit 
Back when I started playing FFXIV:ARR my RL friend invited this girl into our guild which he knew thru his work (computer hardware company). We didn't play with her at all, but after some weeks, she asked if someone could help her. I was bored and decided to help.
She joined our Teamspeak and well...yea. Everyone got horny, except me. I wasn't into online gaming girls, cuz u know.... girls and MMO's ;D.
Aaaanyway, we played a lot and talked a lot on TS. One day I gave her my number, so she could write me when the raid for the dungeon begins. That's when we started texting almost 24/7.
I was the nice guy on TS, didn't go nuts like the other guys when she was on teamspeak. I guess she noticed that and started to like me. I have to admit, it was good to be able to talk somebody again... but I didn't really plan to date her or anything.
so, after a couple weeks, around 21th december we met. I drove to her (1 hour drive) and we went to a chinese restaurant. She showed me some pictures the last couple weeks before the meeting and she looked kinda different...well, turns out that she didn't spent much time at the gym...So, we ate something, had some fun talk. I paid and she asked if I want to come to her place. At first I didn't want to, but then I said yes because I didn't want to be an asshole and drove all the way to her...so why not.
We went to her place, she made some coffee for us, we played beyond two souls on her ps3 - then she brings out the alcohol. I told her that I don't want to drink, because I'm planning to drive back home soon and I don't drink & drive.
She told me just to take sip and taste the "good wine" and said "don't worry, after a couple hours the alcohol will be gone and you'll be able to drive.....or sleep here"
well, nothing special happened between us, not even "FHITB" . We just said it wasn't so bad after all that we've met!
I just wanted to stay "friends" with her. I didn't want a relationship. Well, you could say that I friendzoned her...yea.
She went nuts over the holidays and started writing all kinds of crazy stuff. on new years eve she got drunk home alone, went to bed and started writing more crazy stuff. I went out with friends that night and had a fucking good day!
etc. etc.
now she apologized for everything and told me that she will be giving her pc away to her parents and start doing stuff for the red cross or help children in the 3rd world because she realized that her "problems" are a joke compared to the problems of other countries & people.....
well, I told her clearly that I want to keep her as a friend and that I don't have the time right now for a relationship... because I'm starting my career as a cop soon 
dude... first time I friendzoned a girl, but she clearly needs some help, but not from me. I'm kinda glad that she's gone now...even tho she was a very nice "friend". I don't know but those crazy msgs were kinda creepy...
hoooooooooooooooooooooooly shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit !
