Wait, what? You guys can use the spellbook against the Void demons in the top-left corner of the Luculla map? I tried that and it didn't work :\ Speaking of which, what IS that area anyhow?

That area is when your Homestead is under attack. You need to destroy some big bloodstone and every void creature in that lava area gets killed

If you mean that "Void Aura", that spell didn't work for me on them

open thread -> spoiler -> close thread. Sad

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Thanks for the invulnerable tip too, I can use it on those demons near the desert area

You can't use it on the demons, they have void aura not invulnerable.

Its funny how you can access a lot of areas with the pyramid. Forcefield on a door? Throw a pyramid through and teleport.

You can't use it on the Void demons they need Tenebrium, i meant the stone statues, that when they see you usually flood the area with lava. Now you can just cast the death knight thingy and destroy them.

I think you can use it on anything that has the Invulnerable trait (void demons have void aura i think).

Anyway the Closing the Void is really easy if you

Difficulty in the game so far for me seems just right. The combat system keeps each fight feeling fresh.

Voice acting is not the best and i'd personally like an option to disable it or at least the conversation 'responses' (constant 'bye') gets annoying.

UI is also quite weak in places but i have hope this can be easily fixed in a patch / mod.

I really like the voice acting. Too bad the dialogues are not voiced

Especially Jahan sounds awesome! I wrote it some time back too, but he reminds me of Oberyn from GoT Crying or Very sad

shame the crafting is kind a useless, and waste of time, as long you have vitality and armor speciality high there is no need for crafting anything to make you stronger against enemies on hard, just beat the game on hard with just knight and witch lone wolfs and didn't craft anything and making sure you are ahead of enemies by being at least 2 levels higher then them. They should or maybe they will make crafting more necessary for beating the game.

They should make crafting necessary to beat the game? That makes no sense at all. Crafting is optional, like in any game, and I find it very useful in this one (unlike most RPGs I've played).

I'm fighting Loic now, it's undoable. Can I just leave? WIll he plus his group still be there? I thougt I'd have to do this quest first before going to the witch, judging by other forums it was supposed to be the other way around (witch quest should be easier).

Send one guy up, others at the bottom of the stairs, block stairs with fire, kill one off at a time

You don't even need to get near him

I find that an ice elemental is great here - it always attracts all the attention of the others. Also, use "mute" on anyone that casts spells.

The problem with the bottom of the stairs, is that there's several archers and mages who will target the guy at the top once the elemental is dead and your other guys are out of view so can't do anything.

The game is all about choices. You don't have to craft, but it IS rewarding. My tank had 150% + elemental resistances + 80% block chance thanks to it. totally unnecessary, but it was fun to see the last boss heal me every turn Very Happy
