Wait, what? You guys can use the spellbook against the Void demons in the top-left corner of the Luculla map? I tried that and it didn't work :\ Speaking of which, what IS that area anyhow?

That area is when your Homestead is under attack. You need to destroy some big bloodstone and every void creature in that lava area gets killed
If you mean that "Void Aura", that spell didn't work for me on them

Ahhh, okay thanks!
Spoiler: |
The Blood Stone is in the Phantom Forest, no? Or do I have to sneak through that lava area, get by the Void creatures, to get to the Blood Stone? But yeah, Void Aura is unaffected by the "deinvulnerable" spell
|
66hrs in and I still haven't tackled a few areas. Glorious!

You do. You also need Spoiler: | a tenebrium weapon to damage it. I think a regular one enchanted with a tenebrium bar should work too. |

Fuck. I was in the completely wrong area then.. welp, time to head back to the lava >_> Thanks guys
Oh and I have all my weapons enchanted with Tenebrium now;
Spoiler: |
19 bars from the Silverglen quest and then the Immaculate Village had dozens more, including enormous piles of ore in the shop and Geomancer's room. I'm about to slaughter EVERYONE there (even the younglings \o/) for being creepy cultist fucks, so I'll have even more Tenebrium ... not that I even need it
|
Which brings me back to an earlier request;

I got a question about the Immaculate/Sacred Stone Village
Spoiler: |
I've done the Cathedral, killed Mangoth and gotten the Blood/diary -- can I go back to the village and slaughter everyone there, or will it break some other quest? I've already spoken to the geomancer chick and I don't see any other quests in the area.

Thanks for the invulnerable tip too, I can use it on those demons near the desert area
|
You can't use it on the demons, they have void aura not invulnerable.
Its funny how you can access a lot of areas with the pyramid. Forcefield on a door? Throw a pyramid through and teleport.

You can't use it on the Void demons they need Tenebrium, i meant the stone statues, that when they see you usually flood the area with lava. Now you can just cast the death knight thingy and destroy them.
I think you can use it on anything that has the Invulnerable trait (void demons have void aura i think).
Anyway the Closing the Void is really easy if you
Spoiler: | go to do left, you'll get to a portal which transports you farther. Then i took my rouge (with Tenebrium bow) used an invisibility potion, sneaked passed some hellhound thingies, got to the blood stone, destroyed it, all the demons dead. |

Difficulty in the game so far for me seems just right. The combat system keeps each fight feeling fresh.
Voice acting is not the best and i'd personally like an option to disable it or at least the conversation 'responses' (constant 'bye') gets annoying.
UI is also quite weak in places but i have hope this can be easily fixed in a patch / mod.

shame the crafting is kind a useless, and waste of time, as long you have vitality and armor speciality high there is no need for crafting anything to make you stronger against enemies on hard, just beat the game on hard with just knight and witch lone wolfs and didn't craft anything and making sure you are ahead of enemies by being at least 2 levels higher then them. They should or maybe they will make crafting more necessary for beating the game.

They should make crafting necessary to beat the game? That makes no sense at all. Crafting is optional, like in any game, and I find it very useful in this one (unlike most RPGs I've played).
I'm fighting Loic now, it's undoable. Can I just leave? WIll he plus his group still be there? I thougt I'd have to do this quest first before going to the witch, judging by other forums it was supposed to be the other way around (witch quest should be easier).

You don't even need to get near him |
I find that an ice elemental is great here - it always attracts all the attention of the others. Also, use "mute" on anyone that casts spells.
The problem with the bottom of the stairs, is that there's several archers and mages who will target the guy at the top once the elemental is dead and your other guys are out of view so can't do anything.

The game is all about choices. You don't have to craft, but it IS rewarding. My tank had 150% + elemental resistances + 80% block chance thanks to it. totally unnecessary, but it was fun to see the last boss heal me every turn

Which one? The one with the pressure plates, or the one where a crazy pirate traps you?
First one: Spoiler: | Look for the right pressure plate, only one is correct. Look for it near the southern stairs. |
Second: Spoiler: | The characters that are already in the room can't move. Who can? |

Spoiler: | I`ve put chest near the entrance that blocks the trigger and npc pirate doesnt appear. I`ve put npcs on pressure plates which stopped the smoke, I`ve moved that little mechanism on the floor which triggered something. Npc doesnt appear anymore, I cant click/move the painting on the wall. Nothing more happens, thats all? |

Eternal Guardians Spoiler: | They're not "tough" unless they hit, and they seem to miss my team quite often, but goddamn their resistances.. and only being weak to "crushing" damage - which, of course!, I don't have much of. My tank is wielding a scythe (albeit a powerful one \o/) and only has a very weak Crushing Fist attack, none of my mages have "crush" damage spells (and earth in general is massively defended) and neither does my Ranger.
Have to use "lower resistances" just to put dents in the enemy, heh. Teleport is good for a couple hundred damage too, but still...
It took me nearly half an hour last night and I finally beat them but then walked into a lightning bolt trap, so I pressed F8 just out of habit.
Rage ensued when I appeared right before the Guardian fight.

so i tested it and with every level up you automatically get an upgrade in hp and defence rating, also a hidden offence rating stat as i figured.

Ha I killed the fucker, asshole was constantly healing himself
A question about what next
Spoiler: | Should I go find the witch now, or proceed with Loic's cellar and the portal in it? I was under the impression the witch was part of the MQ so I avoided it, but it's starting to look like it's an SQ. Is teh Loic questline the MQ? |
