Game runs good when walking around with the settings sabin1981 suggested but it stutters a lot when driving.

Has anyone gotten far enough to see what effect on the game your choices have? You can take part in "Balance of Power" missions, which dictate which followup missions you have and who takes control of the Golden Path. I'm curious just how much effect this has on the game.

YYYYYYES!..Shame that it's damn different with Windows 8 (example: Can't fully save the hosts file from Windows folder to block IPs for stuff like Adobe products.. It tells you you don't have the rights...DOING THE SAME THING you do with W7 (Disable UAC etc)...Trolling M$...Specially if you edit the register , then it blocks the Metro UI or the Windows Store)

Sorry for Windows topic change, but it's true!

Ok,back on topic though..

How do you JUST disable the UBISOFT/DUNIA/FC3's Elephant/Tiger videos to get straight to the menu?..They're a bit long and UNSKIPPABLE

Thanks in advance.

That was reported on RIN and it seems it's a bug.. either one that is fixed in the launch 1.1/1.2 patches, or an issue with the uplay emulator. Guess that's our Jerusalem

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I'll just make sure to stay away from Shangrila for now, just in case Very Happy Hopefully it IS the patch issue and not the emulator, as I don't want to lose my save files by switching emu/crack. Also, there is one definite drawback (or empowering bonus, if you're so inclined) to the game; money is handed out FAR too liberally, you get literal hundreds of thousands of Kyrat "dollars?" in a very short amount of time. I've already bought all the maps and I've only just taken over a second tower.

It's empowering, sure, but it also means there less to work towards for the rest of the considerable length of the game.

I do what I did with fc3

Hunted all the animals, got all the upgrades, do all towers.

Then Easy mode engaged.

Towers are easy once you're comfortable with the Helicopter, just flying there, takeover. Gotta be careful though, they can be a litte wacky when they are placed too close.

After 7 hours, 12/32 story missions and quite a few side missions, I think I'm done for now.

I'll wait until the game is officially released and those patches become available.

Game if fun, but mouse input is messed up, it feels as if you're trying to aim with a malfunctioning gamepad.

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

I've noticed that the map seems to be bugged sometimes Sad Damn it, I was hoping it was the frankenpatch from RIN but the same thing is happening here .. sometimes "collecting" an item on the map, or discovering an unknown location, doesn't remove its icon Sad

Just for the record for anyone thinking of getting the rg_mechanics repack, people are reporting the same crash before the door after the prologue.

I really disliked fc3. It became so boring after 10 hours and I've stopped on second island

It's exactly like FC3, quite possibly even larger. It has more refinements but yep... same game, so if you didn't like that then you won't like this all that much more.
