If you want to start shaving with a DE razor, you should buy a sample pack of blades before buying a big lot of a single type of blade.

Can someone recommend me a DE classic system? There are dozens and dozens WTF. Reasonably priced of course, I don't need a platinum, gold coated model.

Well I bought the Wilkinson Sword Classic and I've been using it for two weeks (every two days or so). The device feels more solid and robust than I expected (costs 6 euros). I feel like I'm completely raping my skin though :/ It's not bleeding, but some areas get red and my face feels like shit for a couple of hours. I feel like a masochist now, so I'll stop. Damn you gilette and your overpriced blades!

The Classic is great to begin with, i use it myself. Although the cleaning sucks, but well.
Of course the most important thing in such a device is to use good razors.

I use Gillette Blue II Plus. Works the best for me and I rarely get cuts.

i use disposable ones, 10 pieces for 1 euro instead of 5+ euro for a single brand gillette blade.

not as long as 50 disposable ones for that price, also after a few shaves there is so much hair in there that cleaning is a chore and its easier just to use disposable ones one time per shave.

I've become so much lazy these days, that I basically shave ~twice a month (at best). I can even afford the awfully expensive Gillette blades for my Fusion thingy, since one package lasts me almost one entire year.
Cutting down dat beard with the cheap ones would be a bloodbath, and believe me, I tried xD

Gillette fusion is a nice one to begin with!

Use Palmolive Shaving Cream for that

I bought myself Philips trimmer QG3320, and I won't shave until I can grow a beard dammit!
I still shave my mustache tho, mustache and chin are the only areas that my beard grows nicely, which kinda makes me look absolutely ridiculous so...
