I'm not sure how much more clear I can be to you. The voice acting for Polish is supposed to be of top notch quality because CDP have chosen the best actors and it was handled by them.
German translation (or native language if it was made in Germany...) is ALWAYS unbelievably fucking dicksucking bad. English is always the best. I wont read them english subtitles with polish kurwa stuff.
And the downgrade is polish style isnt it? Triss' tits are polish style? Well that may all be but english it will be no doubt about it. 6 fucking days left

It's even more than that, Witcher series is a walking-talking-fucking cultural reference, you can't divorce it from local background without ending up with a watered down version. Not necessarily "me smash monsters!" level, but you get the idea. Now, I have no clue how good/meh W3 translation is going to be, but you can compare common opinions about Spanish and English translation of those books to get some perspective.
Sure, it still means little for a player who has zero points to spend on "Polish proficiency", but I imagine even good VAs can do little with material that only partially matches a scene, whether it's because of quality of the translation or because NPC's movement has slightly un-synced timing. I don't think CDP could tweak each scene to match each version.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Who cares if Geralt says "fucking motherfucking shit" or "kurwa"? Doesn't matter as long as it sounds good. Its a goddamn fantasy world the translation can't be totally out of the ass context....

This. There's even a mission at the beginning of the game where Geralt helps during the Dziady ceremony which is from Polish folklore.

Yes german (or in general most dubbings) sound bad. But once in a while some devs/publishers actually hire good dub speakers. Funnily it's often EA for example

Ugh, remember when they used the voices of the Gothic cast in every fucking other game? It was like there was a Diego or Nameless Hero in every damn game.
All the graphics jack-offery aside, I must admit that is one of the best "designed/architectured" city I've seen in an RPG. It really feels organic/hand crafted.
That having been said, I did see some ridiculous clipping in some points.

Thats when im glad that i got some kind of retard vision filter that just wont make me notice that shit, same with tearing and stuff like that.
What i gathered from the latest info is that the game seems to be pretty tough and monsters will fuck you up pretty easily, but they can be overcome by pure playskill if your stats are not good enough.
