@foxhound228 Same here, need to get to know the game instead of restarting every 10 minutes because some stoopid saw me somewhere from years away, that can wait until a second playthrough.

The Arkham disaster by Gabe's Refunding Enterprise may have just saved PC Gaming for real. They're all scared now, good!
(Ground Zero already was a nearly perfect porting job to begin with, but it's nice to see that they're not being lazies).
| The_Zeel wrote: | what i also love is the very positive feedback about both enemy and buddy ai. this could be the most polished (semi) open world game yet.
going by the reports, there should be atleast one more, or maybe 2 big new areas that so far nobody is allowed to talk about. wouldn't be surprised if merely the locations would be huge spoilers. |
I bet there will be so many unexpected twists, locations and easter eggs that it's definitely better if we don't know anything in order to experience it at its fullest
So far the infos are so amazingly positive, I don't think I've read a bad thing about this game which is probably the first time that it happens in the recent history xD (except for the two weeks of delay tax for us, that sucks nanomachines' dong, son).

I picked up Ground Zeroes during the Summer Sale and it would crash while in the main menu often so I had to have it verify the game a few times and I was able to at least get past that bug (searching Steam about it though, it seems a common bug that was never fixed) and then when I finally got into the game while playing with the controller I see the mouse cursor like this all the time (another bug they never fixed) with no way to hide it.
 |
Well damn, that sucks.. I wasn't aware of this issue, as I only use m&kb. It seems that it's indeed very common though. Silly Hideo
Was reading that in some cases switching to Borderless Fullscreen could help, or another temporary solution: http://steamcommunity.com/app/311340/discussions/0/610575007214369977/ (I believe you could achieve something similar with AutoHideMouseCursor)

Damn, i like ixigia thought it was a perfect port. Never had any problems. Pretty stupid of them to refuse fixing it when they have the main game incoming.

I'm sure you are joking but it has nothing to do with Arkham Knight.

Kojima is a great game designer. in fact probably on the highest level of the past generation.
But his writing and "direction" is simply and utterly terrible.

In case anyone was wondering, I think the narrator (and snakes voice actor) didn't say anything of importance.
The plants snake picked up, which helps research for stun stuff or something. The extra supplies found on some rocks (at 4:49) were apparently planted by Quiet as well.

Haha thanks, I was experiencing some serious lost in translation moments, glad that it wasn't anything important.
Looks silly at times but also a lot of fun thanks to all the different approaches. Rambo-style, ghost, or even combining the two is possible so it's all good. As long as it's still possible to disable most of the HUD elements I'll enjoy my time as Snake Panther immensely.

The only thing that I find a bit weird, and was obvious in the Ground Zeros as well, pure sneaking is the hardest solution and rambo style is probably the easiest (at least with m&k). |
I like that, its like a self imposed difficulty, you can play it the hard way and the 'right way' but if you make a mistake you're not treated to a game over screen you can still complete it but feel you should go back and do it better later.
