Fallout 4, found the "Railroad" faction.
(Or well, finally decided to visit them as I'm nearing a certain point in the game where it'll be a bit difficult to make contact with them afterwards.)

Xyzg,
I'm really tempted to pick up Dragon Quest Heroes. There is something about it that reminds me of Secret of Mana / Children of Mana.

To all of you taking posting screenshots here. What kind of tool to you use for taking screenshots? Never really been one for taking screenshots but I grabbed some older games that I thought would be neat to post a few screens of.

I use the image program IrfanView for converting to either JPG or PNG, for screenshots Fraps hasn't been updated in ages but might be enough for most games though I use MSI Afterburner and it's Riva Tuner Statistics Server (RTSS) add-on for screenshots which allows greater control but the tool is a bit more complex to use even if you disable the overclock functionality which is otherwise Afterburners primary use.
For Steam, Origin and UPlay genuine games can make use of their in-client overlays and take screenshots and the like from that, Steam is probably the most advanced but they've also been in this business the longest but their overlay allows taking screenshots and if needed have them saved as bmp / uncompressed for higher quality so you can convert them yourself to e.g PNG (lossless, large file size.) or high-quality JPG (lossy, meaning a loss of detail as you save the image but it's very minor at higher quality settings and the file size is very small.) Steam also allows for video recording with support for hardware encoding and decoding via most of the current supported GPU's.
(Afterburner allows the same bug again it's a bit trickier to set up and you have to set up RivaTuner too along with it as they work together.)
Another advantage with these overlays is that you can monitor stats, most usually your framerate should that be desired.
(There's a small performance hit to enabling utilities like the FPS counter but it's mostly CPU side and pretty minor but it's still there.)
There are several other utilities too but I don't know much about them myself, for image viewers IrfanView, Gimp (Graphic image manipulation program, not leather-clad-man or woman with ball-gag.) and Paint.Net (Intended as a improved but still easy to use MSPaint variant.) are free and all are pretty good though paid software like Photoshop might be better but it's a bit overkill for "just" screenshots where you mostly resize and convert to various image file formats.
(I know very little about video editing software so I can't be of much help with that.)
EDIT: PostImage is what I'm mostly using for image hosting, free and with a ad-blocker it shouldn't be bothering you with pop-ups and such either but stuff like Flickr might be better still if you set up a account for that, some hosts like Imgur apparently pre-compresses images after upload or how to say so quality will be worse though it can be very hard to notice outside of a direct comparison against the source image.

@JB: so I'm not the only one still using Fraps, haha! You perfectly said it all, no need to add anything.
The only thing, a non-conventional way that I frequently use is Reshade's internal screenshot function, especially when the game doesn't allow for the combo overlay/Reshade to coexist peacefully. The pics are uncompressed pngs by default, so all is well.

Fallout 4
Spoiler: | |
Got access to the institute after doing way (way) too many missions for the railroad just to make sure we're still on good terms, with that out of the way I guess it's soon time to choose which faction to ultimately ally with and then how that might play out to ultimately finish the game.
Spoiler: |
(As far as I understood it I can choose the institute and everyone else kinda has to be eliminated or I can choose to ally against the institute and with some skill ally the remaining factions though it's very difficult and ultimately it doesn't seem possible to preserve the institute which is a shame, I'm starting to like it.)
|
(EDIT: Added spoiler tags as this does regard the games ending and it might spoil things for those who have not yet advanced to this point in-game.)
