I used GeDoSaTo for a long time and never had a problem either. Maybe those modifications were banned only recently?

is there 100% proof for these reshade/gedosato soft bans?
it could be just cheaters crying as usual, that they did nothing except reshade/gedosato, acting all ignorant and innocent.

Ohh how i love this game. Failed terribly at smelter demon this time around. Always managed to kill him easily enough before, but now he was problematic. Had a pool of over 100k souls and had to leave after the last death and i dropped my controller when leaving and the character walked out into the lava... Holy shit this game can make the most peaceful monk have murderous thoughts.

Hmm, i want to change it up a bit. I do like enhancing my weapon with something. Is there a favourite spell to go for?

So, is the second smelter demon even possible? Going as a str user with bastard sword +10 and noobish Havel set fully upgraded. Even magic defense ring +3, but he just nuked the shit out of me. I'm used to blocking, not rolling and I barely even did any damage to him when i hit him.

U need to roll at this boss. And i think around 100 agility is recommended for rolls to be effective in this game. Also this pos recycled boss isnt worth the hassle of going alone imo, might as well summon some strangers

Think i have 89 agility or so :S And i only found npc's with epic 27 damage pr hit and so. But i'll just skip him... Pains me to do so though. Only boss thus far that i've had to skip >.< Even did the ancient dragon and Vendrick.

there is always that one boss in a souls game where you have to kiss your shield goodbye.
luckily, coming off bloodborne which didnt have shields (except the joke one ),
my body is ready for dks 3. | Meh, sounds like making an excuse for a poorly designed boss... hope that it won't happen in DS3 at all

Pff thats why Bloodborne's bosses were 10 times more exciting. There was no shield to hide behind. But then again going for split second dodges while the framerate dropping to 20.. yeah right fu game

Playing like that must suck when you meet larger groups of enemies of varying strength and health.

yeah, i just don't have the hang of it. Would be rolling like a champ if i didn't spend all my crap on havel set. I'll just see what style i'll go for in the third game. I only have Ivory King left now. Fuck those adds in the beginning with a red hot iron pole.

That's why Bloodborne was mediocre. Only one playstyle. You can play that way in the Souls games if you so desire, no need to force everyone to. Doesn't help that it's the one I like the least in the Souls games.

Hi I played and have beaten demon souls and dark soul 1 but for some reason did not like the original dark souls 2 when it came out. I got about half way through and stopped playing it. I am thinking of giving it another chance and buying the SOTFS version. I wanted to know if guys think its worth it compared to original dark souls 2. Thanks

SOTFS is more of a patch really so it doesn't drastically overhaul Dark Souls 2, uses DX11 and some updated effects as well but it's incompatible with existing save data.
If you haven't played through Dark Souls 2 it might be worth to give it a try but if you didn't like the base game much then I don't think you'll enjoy this version of it either.
It mostly rebalances the encounters and some of the equipment though some of the new encounters are a bit strange such as blocking off early areas via stone statues requiring you to progress further into the game so you can get the item requires to remove them plus they have a hard-on for placing a enemy boss encounter called the Punisher (Or was it Pursuer? ) in the strangest places so expect to have a number of run-ins with that bastard even very early on in the game.
(In the original he was mostly confined to his actual boss battle area until NG+ mode where he roamed around a bit more.)
You could check some of the Steam reviews and see what others think of the update but the Steam reviews aren't always especially helpful, comments on the forum section can also be a bit hostile at times with a lot of trolling and such so not the best place for info either.
As for Dark Souls 3 I heard it's a return to the area layout found in Demons Souls where you had a central separate hub level and then you could teleport to other separate areas instead of the game being fully interconnected or how it's called.
(Even if the layout can be a bit weird, especially in Dark Souls 2, felt a bit more natural in DS1 though that might just be me ha ha.)
Don't really know much else about the game, supposedly using gameplay mechanics (And the engine.) from Bloodborne now but I haven't played that and being a Sony published title it's not expected to be released on PC in the near future, if at all.
(And if Dark Souls 3 is the last of Dark Souls then Bloodborne or what they continue with might end up entirely console exclusive from here on.)
EDIT: Oh and SOTFS integrates the DLC's more properly into the base game so expect to hunt around a bit before you find the keys required to enter these areas.
