All I want are decent siege and raids from raiders. This spawn in the middle of town crap sucks.

Few snaps (older and) from today. The building feature is the best since a long time in a Beth game. I'm really crappy at it, but I kind of enjoy it.

Yea, nice. Looking for a mod that turns the 3d simple boxes from 2001 in the distance into what they really are: buildings.
The LOD textures are just...

Thanks JB, but I already tried that. Was one of the first things to tweak.
Obviously, once I reached the town area, the FPS dropped drastically. Even with a setting of 7. Now, in certain Boston areas, I already have ~45 FPS with ugrids default. Needless to say, switching to 7 is not a go.

Bethesda must be kicking themselves for not being able to blame denuvo for the performance issues on this one.
If they gave a fuck, that is

94 MB update on steam.
Quote: | The 1.3 update for Fallout 4 is available as an automatic download for all PC users on Steam and will be available later this week on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The update has several new features – including PC-specific enhancements like our new ambient occlusion setting (HBAO+) – as well as new fixes for gameplay, quests, and Workshop Mode.
New Features
New ambient occlusion setting, HBAO+ (PC)
New weapon debris effects (PC NVIDIA cards)
Added status menu for settlers in your settlements
Added ability to rotate an object you are holding with left/right triggers and pressing down on left thumbstick lets you switch the rotating axis
Improved "ESDF" keys remapping support while in Workshop mode (PC) |

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

LOL Skidrow screw it again! They didn't changed the launcher and I still don't have HBAO option there. Or the problem is in my TV?

lol. and yet they add more tacked on hogging features like hbao and debris | Ofc, what else can be expected when your regular steam claims it runs silky smooth @ 120 fps @ 1440p, all on ultra?

How is the stability and bug situation when it comes to Fallout 4 now that the v1.3 update has been released?
I've been holding off on installing this until they've fixed the ordinary bunch of quest/engine/weird bugs that tend to be part of Bethesdas in-house engines (Gamebryo and now Creation Engine).

I've played around 130 hours until now and had 0 crashes (no mods installed though). Game bugs do happen but it can be solved via console. Had around 3 quest bugs (console fix worked) and a few other bugs (perk stopped working, junk count wrong)

Only mod-related crashes, but so rare it doesn't mean much, 80% less crashy than FNV and the likes. Had no bugs so far (surprising) except bodies sometimes clipping through things, but except for one quest (Vergil) the game didn't break on me once.
1.3 is just the beta branch, so the game was in that state for quite some time now.

No crashes vanilla. But I'm crashing every 2 mins if I try to mod the game like its skyrim. I'm still filtering what causes them. It's so inconsistent right now, I might give up until GECK is out.
