Let's hope they made that mid-game management a whole lot less tedious. First one felt more like an RTS with the macroing and microing away like a red bull infused maniac on cocaine.

Jeebuz, they really went ahead and removed pause
Making the management even worse, well guess they really listened to their feedback
Shame though, it could have been great if they worked on the problems of the first one.

Pause is actually in the game. Double tap space. I really enjoy playing it (after i found the double-tap space shit).

The "double tap space" feature is actually a bug.
A real pause feature is going to be added.
