I have nothing against them. A month ago I was staying at the hostel. Typical hostel for students. At 10pm a guy came in into the room. He didn't say hi didn't shake my hand .. just nothing didn't say a shit to other 3 guys in the room either. I just thought he might be rude so skip it. But I saw that he's right hand is kinda plastic looking ... and after a second i realized that is really made from plastic ;o]. He's whole fucking arm was a .. how you called it in english .. Artificial limb ? Nvm. He could move only one arm. But I've noticed that he's is a quite more faaster that anyone. A opening a pack of chips took him 3 sec he unpacked in that time when I would barely reach a zipper ;o] He impressed me. But his little pocket knife with scissors to help him open a bag of chips was amazing.

I admire handicap ppl for they will to live normally just like we does.

The only thing that bothers me about the handicapped, is when they are put into a classroom full of un-handicapped kids, and then the handicap use up most of the teachers time and effort.
He they most likely wouldn't contribute to society, be they are using more resources.

Not meant to be an insult, just my opinion.

They have their own helpers. Some handicapped people can be quite clever and can improve society so saying that is pretty stupid. Also denying a handicapped person an education because it requires more resources is a pretty disgusting opinion.

Read my post more closely. Do you believe that the average handicap is just as likely to succeed than a normal person? It was better when they were in a special class with only handicapped kids.

Well it depends on their handicap. If their only handicap is maybe being less mobile i.e. club feet or in a wheelchair then they have just as much a chance at being a successful banker (for example) than a more 'able' person. Of course he's not gonna be good at walking but that doesn't mean it's the end of it all. Mental handicapped people is different though. Some kids with ADHD are actually the smart one's but they just lack the social skills needed. This again doesn't limit them to the dole office. They can still get a good job just in a specialised enviroment that suits them.

How is someone having difficulty expressing themselves funny?

It's just like the kids with self esteem issues who make fun of the fat kid in school, pathetic. The only time I could accept that someone laughing at the mentally handicapped is not an idiotic asshole, is if that person is an ignorant child.

How can you laugh at those people, it's not like they chose to be handicapped. It could be you who people laugh at, or any of us. Imagine, an accident happens to you tomorrow, do you want people to laugh at you? I find it rather sad Sad

Somehow handicapped people is the slapstick joke of nature.

So, it's sort of like natures way of saying: "Laugh more, you sons of bitches!".

Most people do, c'est naturelle!

I guess if you've ever made fun of anyone for something they were born with or have no control over, it would be hypocritical to chastise people for making fun of the disabled.

I'll have to stick to making fun of EMO's then, they wern't born that way so it's ok. Very Happy

haha Razz

Well the word emo dosn't mean they are black metal\satan people. So i don't think its a negative thing to be emo. But i agree its better to to make fun of someone that made themself into something (you thinks funny\dumb) than laugh for people that are like they are from the natures side...

Hmm...Does Fatness count as a handicap?....Lots of times I see people getting out of cars with the wheelchair plates, and I can't see anything physically wrong with them, other then the fact that they need a crane to help them out and an oxygen tank to make into the building Smile.

For some reason fat people are pissing me off lately. I mean REALLY huge people, not someone who's a little overweight. Especially when I see them eating.... They're always complaining about their weight but still they eat like pigs.
