To prove a point to a buddy of mine, I played with M10 Hunter on multiple conquest maps and I absolutely destroyed. Several times I was out of ammo because I outlived so many of the enemies I faced. It felt like playing Battlefront in first person.
Close and personal is not even my play style, I prefer medium range engagements.
Mean while I was killed by mortar in the same operations once. If you camp, mortar kills you, if you move mortar won't hurt you.
That's not true, there are plenty horrible choke points where being killed by mortar has nothing to do with camping. Just take a look at Suez.

The mortar and gas grenade sure are annoying, but as for OP weapons, just take a look at the M10 shotgun. You don't have to wait in buildings or camp around corners, you can easily run and gun with that weapon (so much tactics!) because the game is so fast paced that allows this kind of play style.
The starting weapon for assault is also extremely powerful if you know how to use it. It spits bullets like there is no tomorrow.
But so far, what bothers me the most is how noobs friendly this franchise has become. You are a bad player? NO WORRIES! We give you the strongest thing possible so you can even the score. I hate losing a match that we were clearly winning because the enemy team has an airship/train/dreadnought, that's just downright lame. Even the score system is designed in such a fashion so you can lose at close scores. One team must be completely clueless to get a difference higher than 200-250 points. It's a great idea to reward bad players, after all, they bring the sales up, right?
Well, the airship and train can easily be countered with either the AT rocket gun, landvehicles, airplanes and/or AA-guns. So if you have half a team that's not completely braindead you can take it down within 5-10 minutes. The problem lies with players and not the mechanics IMO, people who are too worried about their KD (or just dying) rather then switching class to help out the game.
For the shotgun, yeah...it's OP in close quarter combat but pretty useless in mid- to long-range combat where otehr classes fare better.
This is all of course in my opinion as to you these things are still going to be considered as overpowered.
On Suez for example, you barely have anything to counter the train with. Not to mention those static guns and AT rocket gun can easily be stopped by enemies running like headless chickens.
Well, the turrets on the train can be taken out with 2-4 hits from the AT rocket gun same as with the airship. Not only that you still have the heavy anti-tank nades, the light anti-tank nades (for every class) and mines. There are quite a bit of counters to it, as there are for basically anything, the problem is when the team doesn't do any of that or can't/won't co-ordinate well.

Well that map is the new Metro, it's mostly horrible. If you try and advance (enemy has 2 flags), you get sniped. So you either fight it there close or mortar (to make some room to advance).
It even says on the battlefield.com map description

That feel when you crash from leading the scoreboard with 27-4 (not sniping, Amiens) Previous round was like 9-11, why not crash on me then.
BF1 sure is picky about CPU voltage, worked couple hours fine, upped cache voltage after last crash 0.05v, now another 0.05v, better not crash anymore.
I haven't noticed hackers, but there are enough op weapons not to mention the return of the mortar.

#1: the people you've played against with it must be pretty shit or you had a medic healing you all the time.
#2: shotguns are nowhere near as powerful as they were in BF4, which in turn were much weaker than in BF3, and those were pea shooters compared to the shotsnipergunriflebuttsecks from BC2.
The A10 is good, but it's not as good as an MCS was in BF4. When you're right in someone's face, yes, it's a 1-hit kill. But even from 10 meters, that's not the case anymore. With an MCS in BF4 you could easily do it from 25 meters away, BF3 was a bit more and its MCS was a bit more powerful too. I won't even compare to BC2, where a shotgun with slugs effectively became a sniper rifle.
TTK in this game is quite a bit lower than it was in BF4. I can easily rack up some kills with a shotgun, but if I don't have a medic healing my ass I won't survive long since I can't heal myself anymore. The rifles are easy to wreck, but the SMGs are actually a bigger problem than shotguns. Their TTK from the hip is lower than the shotguns' ADS time is.
Tried it with jewish origin access and not going to buy it. It was fun to play but didn't pull me in. I played 10 hours in total and they should have made the trial free.

Means only one thing, game uses CPU properly and your overclock hasn´t been 100% stable, but it has been stable in some modern crap ports which doesnt stress out system properly.

Yep. Was solid last night, hoping it's now for ever too. I even used BF4 for stability tessting earlier. CPU was fine on stress test and every other game, but BF4 would crash once in a few days.
