Here they are (took me a while with my 4Mbit haha): http://www.mediafire.com/file/czo4wylfbqdiirq/RE7-TAAantismear.rar

Reshade's SMAA is off by default because they're specifically for the TAA (anti-vaseline way), but if you want to enable that too to be sure you're jaggies free, just open SweetFX.cfg and put the USE_SMAA value to 1. Smile
(It's the old version which I prefer since it doesn't come with additional interfaces)

You have HDR enabled as well and Lumasharpen only goes to 3.0 not 4.

There is way to increase FOV and also ultrawide resolutions are working, check this thread Smile

Funny how easily people finds solution for aspect ratios that "breaks game and is not supported", pure lazyness and completely retarded.

Everyone playing at 60 FPS and for me the game is freezing every now and then, I guess when it's loading in areas. Sad Guess 2GB GPUs are too weak for it, tho demo didn't have that problem.

Yeah found that out as well silky smooth with those settings even at very high textures.

Yep, as I mentioned before, I like to have some fake subtle HDR too for the better contrast. It can be easily disabled from the same cfg, so no biggie.

The sharpening values are actually 'unlimited': the upper bound of 3 is a suggested one so to speak. You can bump it up as much as you want, try 99 for instance and see what happens. Very Happy

I can concur this as well

Playing with everything maxed except Shadows to High instead of very high , shadow cache to off , FPS set to 60 (Variable introduce some micro stuttering here and there ) , TAA , and resolution scaling set to 1.2 on a GTX 970 and i can get a steady 60FPS in almost every location except the baackyard where it can drop in the 40-50 range when looking directy at the trailer but i can live with that. Dopping down resolution scaling to 1.1 and Textures to medium and i can get seady 60FPS in the backyard as well but i don't really care about dropping 10-15 fps there since there si i just leave it at textures very high and reso at 1.2. I do get a 1-2 framedrop once a while like ti goes to 58 but then jump back immediately to 60 but it's so minimal that it doesn't bother me.

I'm not finished yet but game is fantastic so far. Probably my favorite RE after 1 and 2. May sound like heresy to some but i do like it more than 4. It just feel more atmospheric and dark and i'm a sucker for that.

Same i'm a horror fan and it is definitely better as a horror game then resi 4 which was primarily a action game (a very good one) and not scary at all.

It was awesome until I reached the "main gameplay"

Is this game really about spam killing those black boring monsters? I got bored after 5 of them spawned in a span of 3-4 minutes and I quit

Some areas are more combat heavy, in-between the main "family" members you will encounter these "molded" usually in one of two separate varieties (A fast one on all fours and the normal one.) later on in the game it further shifts focus on combat.

Doesn't go quite as crazy as in Resident Evil 5 or 6 but every now and again the game will send a few molded your way.

Am I right in thinking the only difference between Medium/High/Very High textures is the pop in and nothing to do with actual texture quality? I've checked all 3 settings and there is no visible difference at all yet on Medium the game doesn't hitch when I turn the camera.

Also, I've just used Reshade for the very first time to get rid of that TXAA+FXAA blur and am really impressed. Thanks men.

I have, numerous times. Also, if it did that but I was getting the performance gains from dropping the textures but they were still staying the same visually it wouldn't really make much sense.

CTD after the game attempts to connect to their servers - re7.exe has stopped working.

I read something about codecs being the culprit, but the fix didn't work for me. Sad

I've noticed that as well, the quality and definition of textures seems to be the same in all the three cases, the only difference is how the textures are stored into the vram. On Medium they are loaded 'on the fly' so to speak, causing some quick blur effect a-la UE3, which isn't present with the other options.

In my case (970) High and V.High textures fill all the 4GB entirely, leading to stuttering after the initial demo-like area (no matter the settings used), whereas with Medium the usage never goes above ~3600MB. That's the best trade off for me, since I can max out everything that way, use Reshade and even bump up the scaling with no downsides (besides the minor pop-in).
