Valve cracked down hard on gift resellers. Guess it was just a matter of time. Also makes me wonder if they'll introduce more limitations on item trades and market selling.

I guess it still works if you want to actually gift someone a game for let's say his or her birthday or for christmas etc. But you can still buy the game, when it is on sale before hand.

It's still making it more complicated, safe to say nobody needed that shit, Steam being dickheads as usual.
Will just have to put some money in the pool this year I suppose. Humble Bundle keys and such should still work, since they're technically not gifts in the inventory?
