Valve cracked down hard on gift resellers. Guess it was just a matter of time. Also makes me wonder if they'll introduce more limitations on item trades and market selling.

lol scheduled gifts, so essentially taken away from the inventory so both guys have nothing to do with it until the point where it's scheduled, useless feature

I guess it still works if you want to actually gift someone a game for let's say his or her birthday or for christmas etc. But you can still buy the game, when it is on sale before hand.

I think it only affects if the price difference its higher than 10%, so USA and EU will still be able to send each other gifts.

Will just have to put some money in the pool this year I suppose. Humble Bundle keys and such should still work, since they're technically not gifts in the inventory?

and yes steam sucks for deactivating the games as item storage stuff,but keys are fine (and money)

Existing gifts can be gifted as you please, you just can't do that with newly bought games.
