Sadly, I'm afraid, this looks no different than any other Video Game: The Movie. I expected (and still expect) great things from the actress, but I guess everything else will be bad...

That was terrible. It definitely looks like it's a faithful adaptation of the 2013 game  
Same quality writing, unnatural oomphy cinemaction (with the forced moaning, of course), all whilst taking itself seriously which is the biggest sin.
I didn't particularly like the old movies, but I agree with DarkRohirrim, at least they didn't try to be more than cheesy B-rated attempts starring a kickass Lara doing Tomb Raidin' business. The recent (disastrous) Assassin's Creed movie also had a similar problem, it tried adding a layer of dramatic tones that were out of the place, in addition to another dozen of issues coming from the production not understanding what the franchise is all about.

Not any more, Lara looks different these days. I think Jolie came quite close to the perfect fit for triangle titted Lara. For new Lara... dunno, any random Instagram brunette will do. |

It's a video game movie with a video game story. The LEAST of it's problems is that Alicia Vikander is the main lead. She's cute, she's athletic and her fucking tit size doesn't matter except for people with "I can't stop obsessing about boobs"-syndrome.
Personally I like tits of almost any size except the huge monster tits that are as sexy as 600lb women.

not sure how you can say shes the least of the films problems, when her ability to convey the character is pretty much the only important thing about the film. shes not even british, dammit.
and shes not that cute. shes cute for a dude, yeah, but not a lady woman.
and for the record, britishness and tits are pretty much laras defining traits. they are what make her lara freakin croft. its like taking the rich out of batman, the douche out of iron man, or the black out of will smith (its all hes got, dammit).
