Just before I Go 2014:
8/10... Wow ! Great movie! Great acting, good story, funny crude jokes. American Pie Sean Scott was excellent. Watching older movies now because the latest releases are pure dog shit.

Bad boys for life . Pains me to say but I enjoyed it as stupid as it is . Same style as original , completely far fetched story , cringey humour and over the top action...what's not to love ..8/10

Dark Light - 1/10
Utter tosh!, laughable, and a waste of 1.5 hours of the day.
Brain on Fire - 8.5/10
Superb true story, with a title that would make you laugh (as I did), but, it's a great performance all round, with Carrie-Anne Moss (Matrix), playing the mother of the daughter the story is about. Good stuff.

the platform (2019)
8/10
I think it was really good.. but if you want a clear ending and explanation of what the fuck was going on you might get disappointed.
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Turned it off after half an hour, couldn't get into it, plus it was making me sick (the food thing)
Dead Zone - 7/10
Oldie, but goodie, with one of my all time fav actors, Mr Walken, acting as he does, lol.
Unthinkable - 7/10
A story about how the USA treat their prisoners, pretty accurate it was too, not bad, and pretty good score for Samuel L. Jackson, which is rare.

Pinocchio (2019) - 6/10
A faithful portrayal of the original novel, technically valid and with quality direction/photography from Garrone. The simplistic nature of the story was for me honestly quite difficult to digest, but I can imagine children absolutely loving the movie and its charm, which is what counts after all. I was mostly curious to see if I could recognize anything since many scenes were shot nearby, and indeed I spotted quite a few familiar places

Fantasy Island - 0/10
The movie start like a TV movie, later didn't know what it wants to be, the story is just awful.

Binged Day of the Dead (1985) and Shaun of the dead with missus since she never seen those.
These movies hold up really well

Plenty of people seem to be blind to the irony and sarcasm sprinkled throughout the movie.

I've never understood how it's even possible. Even the actors are very obviously selected for comic relief / irony. They all look like action figures / dolls pretty much, i've always found that quite hilarious. One of my favorite sci-fi's (i find it better than the book), never had an issue with the pacing.
Could have been a cool TV-series.
