Thanks!
I actually set it up yesterday and the games run pretty good, there is the expected slow down at some parts, but overall most of the games I tried were playable.

Hardcore titles are progressing very nicely on this emulator. |
Do you need a GPU powerhorse to play PS3 games? Or is it CPU and RAM-bound? |
My current PC is 6 years old...(buying new one probably next year) I have 16 GB ddr 3 Ram, i5 i54670k and gtx 970....
I am running it on Vulkan latest offical version of the Emulator, and it seems to be enough for full speed and 1080p. |
I will need to try Lollipop Chainsaw again then as I have almost the same specs as you but instead have a GTX 1070 and last time I tried it that game ran terrible but maybe some of these recent advances will help with that game.

Runs pretty much flawless now like all UE3 games they are also pretty lightweight and run on a toaster.
Played trough it a while ago myself.

I've read that article about the PSP batteries inflating up and stuff and checked on my PSP 3000 Slim Blue and... It popped the battery compartment's door and shown out inflated, so i guess i can't use my PSP anymore (I mean, there seems to be third party batteries but i've read on amazon that they don't charge later on or shit, and i bet official ones are either hard to find or costy as fuck)
Just 2 things
1. Are there any trustworthy replacement batteries for my PSP 3000 Slim Blue?
2. Are there any totally functional PSP emulators out there?.. Just say the names, no links. I wanna try to find my old games online and see if they'd work on emulator.. Specially Lumines 1+2.

I'm aware of that but i like the PC version..
However LUMINES 2, with the latest PPSSPP, runs at 30FPS while it used to run at 60FPS and cannot find an option for it.. Again, Windows. I've been googlin for the 60FPS but all i see are "cheats" but i don't see such an option in Options etc..

People overestimated the Powerhouse needed for ps3 emulation..
Sure, you still need relatively strong PC, but a decent PC you can buy can run most of the PS3 games at full speed on 720-1080p.
Especially with the huge optimisation done on the emulator.

Bit weird to hear that about PsP, think I bought mine close to launch and it still is going stronk. No battery bulging and keeps its charge.
There are some good third party batteries out there, but dunno the brand. I saw some vid on youtube about it a few years back. They had more capacity, reason why people exchanged their stock ones.

Peggle 2 is now playable in xenia. Played a few levels.
Remember to set license_mask = 0 to 1
Saves do work. Will nag you the first time about not being able to load your save, works fine after that.

I never understood why Peggle 2 was eggsluive (misspelled on purpose) to consoless and never came to the PC?
I am pretty sure it's done on purpose despite the series sold well on PC.
It's nice to see we finally can forcefully run it on PC.

Checking the store page of the 360 version it doesn't seem like they have DLC. The Xbone version does.
I don't see any mention of DLC available for the Xbox360 version anywhere, so I think its only the Xbone that got DLC for it.

So yesterday evening I started to get into WiiU emulation for the first time, it's because I'm planning to play those 3 games:
- Super Mario World 3D
- Yoshi's Woolly World
- Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze
I got Cemu and started to play a bit on default settings and it was horrible. Constant freezes due to shader compilation, the games were nigh unplayable like that.
I did some reading on this and apparently it gets better the longer you play a game.
Apparently it is also possible to download precompiled shaders from other people.
There is also the option to use async compile on Vulkan and switching to the triplecore recompiler (I have Ryzen 3700X).
So I want to know what would be the best option for me to play games. I currently plan on playing with the following settings:
- Vulkan + ReShade
- Triplecore Recompiler (where possible)
- Async compile enabled
I played Yoshi for 10 minutes and it seemed much better now. Is this the best setup for me? Or will I run into any more issues with those games?

I'm not sure what the best config is these days. I always popped on reddit a visited a certain shadercache sub for the best playing experience.

Just started toying around with Cemu and i use Async and Triplecore and in BOTW and 3d world it seems to help alot atleast the async. And i gets better the more you play.
