It's weird, the pc version of Days Gone is Unreal engine 4 too and it looks nice as well while running fine on modest pc hardware.

So wtf happened? Did they lose the ability to make a game in UE4 just because they created it for PS5?

Different game, different variables, different teams and skill levels. With modern development, you really need highly skilled engineers, of which it seems we're in short supply of.

You watch a little bit of this GDC talk with Nixees about their work on Spiderman. The work that goes into these things is enourmous. And they brainstormed different options. Then they implemented them. You need teams to specifically focus on PC and to know what they're doing. And resources for it from the publisher, naturally.

Looking at Respawn and how the 2019 game is not perfect on both consoles and PCs, i'd dare say they're not technically able enough to match the ideas they have for their games while using unreal engine.

If they actually labelled it "Early Access" and demanded like 20 dollars less then it would not be so shitty.

There is exploit that generates denuvo token for your pc that can be used along origin emu to run the game. Some guy in rin has bot that uses accounts owning games to generate tokens.

since this is the new normal maybe we should just naturally assume that w future releases

and have a new tag for games that are actually "finished" on release (rare as that might be)

would save you the trouble

Pessimists! The lot of you!

Look at all of these other games that were fixed by day 1 patches:

To be fair though, most games have suffered from the same issues lately, namely relentless stuttering. "But, but you can play it once with stuttering and then next time you play it it's stutter free. It's like no problem lol wut "
That shite UE4 engine combined with DX12 for RTX or forced in general is just terrible.

This is one of Pey's videos. I can't say for sure, but the way he pans the camera makes me think this also has negative acceleration. The way the game runs for him is trully atrocious

Soo I can get close to 60 on Epic on a 3060 at 1080p? Sounds good enough for me.
Most of the complaints I've been hearing about performance lately seem to be from 4K people, am I onto something here or what?

It's worse than Calisto Protocol even

Medium settings it barely holds 30-35 fps what a complete disaster

mostly negative, already droping from 31K on steam. Everyone talking how bad the game runs instead of the actual contents of the game. Why dont they fucking learn yet, jesus. The game needs to work before you ship it
