Well one of the lead devs just made a thread on reddit and wrote that the game is meant to be played with upscaling and specifically mentions performance mode DLSS/FSR which the game even starts with enabled by default .
I mean i'm absolutely fine with upscaling if implemented well but it should never really be required to get playable performance especially not in performance mode which reduces image quality quite a lot.
My CPU runs at 50-58 degrees. GPU runs at 47 degrees. I don't run anything on Ultra.
So far I like it. Haven't really liked anything original since Gears. Only 30 minutes in so we will see.
But it really heated up my tiny office!!! LOL

Very Last of Us'ish, perhaps mixed with a bit of STALKER or Metro.
It's nothing like Last of Us (just so everyone else knows).
It's basically just a Souls-like game but with TPS mechanics and dimensional sci-fi elements.
I didn't mean the gameplay, i mean the setting/atmosphere/characters at the start is a total last of us-rip off with you companion being a young girl and them talking about how the world might have been in the past etc.. also the girl having some disease, it's impossible to not think of TLoU.
It doesn't remind me of Dark Souls (gameplay) so far, but i'm still at the start.

Same for me and honestly the souls like stuff is very light it's really not very punishing and procedural generation stuff is mostly unnoticeable it's not a rogue lite/like in any way, game is more say Diablo with less loot pinata then souls in my opinion.
They really made a good action rpg there if the technical was better this would be a goty contender for me.
