The game already "struggled to meet sales expectations" so badly back when it launched that it made Ubi's stocks plunge to all-time-low depths, but the Steam reception is on another level. Literally the entire Gabeplanet saw the game and reacted like the disgusted cat gif

Yes, that is exactly my point on why it didn't sell well on Steam. But considering it launched earlier on uPlay and Epic, the Steam charts don't show much in this specific case. If it launched at the same time it'd be a different story, since the vast majority of players would buy it on Steam.
We know it didn't sell well either way, but I doubt it's <1000 copies on uPlay and Epic.
they're never gonna profit from this, i heard Disney takes 30%, Steam (etc) takes their cut, they're left with very little + game development cost is immense
even for my favorite games, if i decided before i started playing it, that i am going to hate it, then the game just wouldn't be very good. lets assume i would just try to find every issue i could and have a total hang up on them, constantly ridiculing the game for anything i can find..
i used to watch nerdrotic and mauler was often on there, jesus is that dude a fucking drag to listen to, just his overall tone puts me to fucking sleep.
I mean... I've seen the huge skyrim and oblivion reviews by patrician but those (dare I say) make *some* sense as the games are gigantic. And there's comparisons of factions/skills/quests/systems with previous and future TES entries, discussion about the making of documentaries, etc
