I've stopped playing for like 2 weeks as I didn't have access to my console and now it is almost impossible to go back when there have been 3 relatively big patches and everything just seems "new". I've tried to push it for 1h and just didn't enjoy it anymore. This is one of those games that it is just too big to leave for too long as it is almost impossible to go back. I think I will park it for a year or so until they stop making changes and start from the beginning somewhere in the future.

I don't see how you can't pick this up after a couple of weeks. There is no story, you're just clearing icons on the map. The controls are easy to forget but you'll pick that up fast enough again.

There IS a story, but it's so... buried underneath everything else. And, at some point, you get tired of flakring around in the open world with the gazillion systems and want to pick up some narrative thread, to push further in a more linear, focused way...
