does a game always have to look good?
isn't the gameplay the important factor? baldurs gate 2 doesn't look all that nice, but I still play it!

YES! its fracking 2006 going on 7, so again YEA! sure it does!. And don't come with the ol "game play the important factor" yeeeees!. You think they would play 1999 games at the holodeck in Voyager? answer is NO!

you ARE wrong. the worst thing is when devs only focus on the latest technologies in gfx and shaders and whatever. if the game design, the idea, the layout and other factors are left out, you have an empty shell. a picture.
a game has to be enthralling, making you want to play more and more and more and "i just HAVE to see what's beyond that hill!!!"
so many new games are... soulless, in lack of a better word. I don't care if it's 2006 or 1996 or 2016. if a game only looks good; its nothing.

does anyone know what the yasu.exe is for in the /tools dir?
I cant get the game to work still, have tried any possible combination of pr0t.stop, securom loader and dt4 I can think of, but I get the Emulation detected error every time.

ahhh the joy of being a neutral evil kickass Wizard!
Game is fun, no doubt about it. Not for everyone, though.

Spoiler: | Select the little kid (the thief) and press RMB for half a second in the green man. Then select the last feat, can't remember the name now but it is something about stealing |

Do you have blindwrite installed? I recall that being an issue. If so maybe try uninstalling blindwrite and any other emulation software besides what is needed from the nfo.

He he...well its your time, and your time alone you spend there. If you wanna play some crappy looking game just cause ur a fan boy, be my guest. WTF is wrong with GREAT game play and GREAT graphics? SC and HL2 are great examples of that....that's all I am saying. if the Devs are not up to it...well....competition is stiff. But as you don't pay for it you don't really care, like me I only pointed out that in this day and age one HAS! to expect a bit more compared 2-3 years ago...that's all.

No, no other emulation software installed, and no blindwrite either.
*edit* Uninstalling Alcohol 120 did the trick

You don't have to be level 20 to be a prestige class. Level 20+ is epic, not prestige.
