Pans Labryinth - I also give this 8/10, kinda wierd, kinda cool.

I felt good about watching it after it was done, I like the intensity of the scenes. You just don't expect it and BAM, there it is.. Razz

Yeah I watched it a couple of days ago. Very good movie and original.

speaking of which, you should definitely try Papillon http://imdb.com/title/tt0070511/ with Dustin Hoffman and Steve McQueen. Another 9 or 10/10 classic.

And Shawshank R will seem (just a lil' bit) to be a ripoff )

Watched a lot of movies lately.
Watched the good old westerns with Clint Eastwood ending wth "Unforgiven" of course.
Fistful of dollars,For a few dollars more,Hang em high,Joe Kidd,Otlaw Josey Wales,Two mules for sister Sara.
I'd rate em all 6/10.As I like westerns with Clint.
Unforgiven is a masterpiece 8/10
Illusionist 7/10.I wonder how Jessica Biel got the role, and frankly he did quite good in that one.Thou I still think she is not fit for the role, and another female actresses would have performed better.Eduard Norton as always was brilliant.
Prestige 8/10 Great movie,great script,great actors.What else to say.
Pan's labyrinth 9/10.Gave it 9 since it's obvious the movie is very original in its conception of blending uncovered cruelty, fairy tales, romance and anti-fascists ideas.
It managed to move me to a certain extent Smile - thus 9/10

The Great Escape, eh? I like it too, the only thing which bothers me is that the germans are played by americans who speak "gebrokkent" german in a very funny way (but that was unfortunately very typical in american movies until the 90s when it started to change) Laughing
